Q: This is a comment. I was beyond frustrated when my daughter went to clean out the hamster cage with the new dawn and I got really sick. Autoimmune issues. We've used Dawn for all cleaning for 24 yrs. New scent is not working.

While I didn’t use enough to make me sick or anything, the new scent is truly horrible so it’s time to change brands, I can’t remember a time I didn’t use Dawn so this is a true bummer.     Works as well as the packaging claims

    This is the only dish soap I’ve found that actually cuts through stuck on food. I’m also not a fan of heavily scented soaps but this one is the perfect level that doesn’t stick to the dishes. Absolutely obsessed!

    Perfect for handwashing, cuts grease fast and rinse easily .

It form a rich lather, cuts though grease easily and leaves no residue. The texture is perfect_ just a little goes a long way. It’s definitely my go to for handwashing dishes.

It really is the best for greasy pots and pans, and it has so many other uses for household cleaning and stain removal in clothing. I love this large size which allows me to refill my smaller container multiple times. I’ll be reaching for this again and again.

    Cuts through oils and greases like no other

    I couldn't figure out why our dish soap wasn't cutting the simplest of oils (olive and avocado) from bowls and utensils. Then I realized our dish soap was green and not blue. We had inadvertently bought Palmolive and not our usual Dawn a few months back. We've now restocked with Dawn Ultra.

    All of the new Dawn line dries your hands out and the scent is too strong. I work at a horse farm and I used the original Dawn all day long. The old school version was best! Remember some things are better off left alone. If it’s not broke don’t try to fix it. Please make it available. I’m 62 years old and my mother always used it too. Original Dawn was a product you just grew up with and trusted using on everything.

    This is top tier and the blueprint. I used to think all dish washing liquid was the same until I tried this. It really cuts through the grease. It's thick and it doesn't take nearly as much Dawn as the others.

    Horrible Smell

    I am actually allergic to Dawn, but I had a small sample bottle. I ran out of Ajax before I realized I needed more, so I was forced to use this bottle of Dawn. My hands are dried out and itchy since I'm allergic, but I'm dealing. I thought something was rotting in my sink, but then I realized it was the scent of the soap. It is horribly overpowering. I can't buy Dawn anyway, but thought I'd review what little I used just to warn others of the smell.

    Dishwashing liquid that’s NOT Dishwashing liquid

    The one and ONLY soap that is a must have for any household . You think this is just for dishes but it’s a one stop shop for other parts of your home as well. This gets rid of the grease and grime and fight tough stains doing overtime … from bathrooms to baseboards to stairs , to CLOTHING .. it does it all. I don’t trust any other “dish” washing liquid . They really should change this because it truly isn’t just for dishes ….

    This detergent is excellent for washing my dishes; it's never missing from my kitchen. It makes quite a bit of foam and removes dirt easily. It is thick and easily dilutes.

    Sickening, overpowering perfume odor.

    I hadn’t used Dawn in several years and recently got a bottle of Dawn Ultra. I was surprised that the fragrance had changed to a sickening perfume odor. I can’t stand it and will either give my bottle away or dump it down the drain. And, I will never buy Dawn again.
