A: When used as directed, your Dawn EZ-Squeeze style bottle will not leak. Keep the bottle standing on its head, and never flip it. Flipping increases the pressure inside the bottle, and pressure leads to leaks. Just pick the bottle up, squeeze it directly for cleaning, and put it back down on its head. If pressure does build up, flip the bottle, so the cap faces upwards, unscrew it, put the top back on, flip it nozzle down, and give the bottle a big 2 second squeeze. Keep it in this position, and pressure should not be an issue.

I work at an elementary school and when I wipe down the tables with this soap, the kids always tell me how great it smells. I agree - the new scent is clean and refreshing! To each their own but I hope you keep the new scent. AND if you don’t, I won’t stop using Dawn. It’s the best grease cutting soap on the market and whatever the smell, I will always use it.

Dawn is by far my favorite dish soap brand because it is always reliable and smells great. I also love its environmental campaign with the horrible oil spills around the world. I really like this bottle design especially compared to the original because it prevents a build up of dried soap at the top and is perfect for allowing all the product to drip to the cap to prevent a lot of wasted soap and money. I like the cap and easy usage as well.

I've been using dawn for way over two decades. Not knowing of the change, I bought a bottle, fill up my kitchen dispenser, and actually gagged. Seriously. I rinsed a water glass over and over and over just to get the god awful scent off. I could handle the additional water in the new formula - but not (what I call) "Fabreze Acid Rain Original."

When it’s come to wash dishes I always prefer to use dawn liquid dish soap.its remove all sticky and oily stuff from the dish and its cane out super clean.its really easy to use and leak proof you don’t have to worry about spilled.

Dawn used to be my go-to but the new scent is absolutely awful. It’s extremely strong and lingers in my kitchen! Smells like blueberry perfume instead of soap. Please bring back the old scent!

Used to use this soap all the time for greasy and oily hands from working on cars, but after the recent scent change, I have switched to a different soap. The new scent is putrid and unbearably strong. Really hoping P&G will listen to their customers and go back to the old smell like Coca-Cola did in 1985.

It's completely unusable since you changed the formula. The scent is so powerful even rinsing in boiling water and leaving plasticwear out for days doesn't help get rid of the scent and it just makes me think if the scent is there what sort of toxins are being left behind on my dishes? I can't buy this until it's changed back.

To remove the scent from your dishes, soak the items in hot water with some distilled white vinegar added to it, or if they're dishwasher safe, pour some vinegar into the bottom of the dishwasher and directly into the dispenser, then run them through the machine. It may take a couple of cycles, but the smell will come out. Additionally, you can rewash your hands with mild hand soap to remove the scent. Your satisfaction means a lot to us, and we hope you'll give Dawn another try.
