A: We're very sorry you're not the biggest fan of this scent, Marry. At this time, there are no plans to bring back the Original scent. However, we do extensive consumer testing to get the scent just right, and while scent preferences will vary from person to person, feedback is important, and we'd love to connect about this and help.

A: This product has been thoroughly evaluated to be used in homes with septic tanks. We do have two antibacterial soaps you may be interested in; they are our Dawn Antibacterial in Citrus and the second is in Green Apple scent. Q: Can I use this for spot stain removal in laundry? Family member comes home with LARGE oil stains on his clothes. Can I use it as the laundry detergent in an HE washer?

A: You can most definitely use Dawn for grease stain removal, but we only recommend using a very small amount, about the size of a button. Anything more than a teaspoon will cause excess suds.

Its new smell is horrible and I will find another brand. Why change something that worked? I bought 3 bottles recently and thought I just got a defective one but Nope! I bet you can’t even use it on wildlife that needs rescuing.

Terrible new scent
The new scent is terrible. When my husband first used it, I checked the garbage to ensure there was no rotting fruit in it. The new scent is nauseating and gives me a headache. I am so disappointed. I’ve been a loyal user for decades. I can no longer have this product in my home, much less use it.
