Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponges

These were my favourite sponges for years and I just went and purchased a package and they are so much thinner and rough and cheaply made.

I have been purchasing these scrub sponges for years and they are beyond fantastic. They clean anything, are excellent quality and I highly recommend this product.

These break apart after a couple uses, I'm not sure if it was a bad batch or quality change. Won't be purchasing again.

I have been using this sponge for as long as I can remember the quality has decreased substantially down through the years, starts to fall apart after a couple of uses.

This product works well. Just don't last 3x longer like the package reads. As a matter of fact, they do not last as long as they did a couple of years ago

It is so bizarre I actually bought a 6 pack of the green and yellow sponges when I used the first one and let it set until I went back a few hours later the sponge had blckish dark bluish spots all over the yellow sponge part-I thought wth did my husband use this on something greasy and grimy?? so I got another out of the pack and shortly after my first use same thing happened those icky looking spots came back on the new sponge...What the heck is going on??

I have buying these sponges for years and in the last couple of years they have changed these sponges and they are falling apart after only a couple of uses. I am very disappointed that whatever you have changed has made them something I won’t buy again unless they are changed. Like others have written they aren’t any good.

I've been buying 9 ct. or 24 ct. Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponges for decades. They have always worked perfectly for dishes and the scour pad side for pans. At the end of each week, it gets tossed {even though it looks like it has a lot of life left} and a new one comes out. Up until recently, I would have given this product a 10+ without a thought. However, I am now on my 2nd pkg. and every sponge practically disintegrates by the 2nd use. 1st pkg. - I thought it was a fluke since they have always been A+ and bought another pkg.. That's when I realized what is really happening. It's truly a shame Scotch Bright decided to cheapen their product & risk their reputation. What once was a 5 star doesn't deserve a -1. Little sponge pcs. fall off & and need to be scooped out of sink every use. Some small pcs. have escaped down the drain even with a stopper in it. I don't plan on taking the chance of pipes eventually being clogged with yellow sponge. Sadly, I won't be buying anymore. I was not exaggerating saying I've been buying them for decades. Bought 1st time at age 21 when I got married and I just turned 64. That's a lot of loyalty years. Very disappointed they jumped on the "lets cheapen our product & charge more" band wagon.

This sponge is our go-to for washing all dishes. We use it with the Dawn soap and it gets the job done perfectly every time.

Extremely poor quality these days! Hi. We have only used and bought your product over 20 years but the 5 last batches is absolutely of the poorest quality! The scorer side comes off over just a few washes and nothing intensive! Very disappointed and going to try other brands.

Always use these. I like that it has a good abrasive on one side.

The quality of this product seemed not as good as it in five years ago. Right now the surface of the heavy duty scrub sponges are very easy to become cotton-like surface. It usually took less than one week, the surface is worn away. Not sure you are design it on purposes to avoid the sponges scratching certain types of surfaces? Hope you can make the quality of this sponges to be used a little longer.

hello, I have already bought the Scoth Brite Sponge three times, but the sponges do not last a week, they detach from the most abrasive part and the sponge keeps falling apart, it seems very fragile, and it does not last even a week, I would like to know if you can review it this product. I have always bought these sponges because they’re heavy duty and last a while! However this time around they felt very cheaply made. Not happy about the change in quality

I’ve been using these for my metal cookware forever. They’re excellent for tough stains & baked on food.

I almost always buy Scotch Brite sponges. On the rare occasion I have to try something from another brand, I'm usually disappointed. Scotch Brite sponges are just reliable. They don't shred, they don't scratch, and they clean well. They're worth the slightly higher price point to make up for their longevity and reliability.

Surely, 3M, you aren't trying to shrink your sponge in hopes we won't notice. Super disappointing. I purchased a new pack of 3 Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponges and I was extremely irritated. This is the only sponge that works on my lasagne casseroles and stainless steel pans and I’ve tried them all

They are smaller, thinner, of a shoddier material, and more expensive than when I bought them previously in Febuary 2022. There is no reason to pick this brand over the generic. They're chintzier than the generics, and they're just milking the product for the brand name at this point.
