Battle had something to hide - something so big he was willing to kill to protect his secret! Don’t even think of going out alone until you finish this book, and then you might want to stay away from dark alleys! The author has given us a story that has so many twists and turns in it, you begin to wonder if the mystery and murder will ever stop. Bailey Ryan, an FBI agent, is on loan for the duration of this investigation. Marco Agostini is the head NCIS Special Agent and her partner in the quest to solve this multiple murder. Add another NCIS agent, an Army Ranger and a JAG lawyer to the team and the possibility of solving the case gets better...or does it?? With multiple murders, possible suicides and targeted attacks this suspense thriller will keep you guessing the whole time. Follow the team as they forage through the evidence until they can bait the trap to catch those who are guilty. This fabulous book, which you don’t want to miss, is just the beginning in the Capital Intrigue series and one I look forward to thoroughly enjoying!

YAY! A new series by Rachel Dylan!
I love everything that I read by her. She always writes stories that leave you in shock.
This is book one in the Capital Intrigue series. It grabs you in right away.
I read this book over a 2 day period - because I could not PUT IT DOWN.
My poor family was worried about me when I kept gasping with every twist and turn.
In this book - we see a series of murders happen. We see two departments who do not want to work together - try and find a middle common ground to solve the cases. All evidence points to a NAVY seal - but Bailey - does not think he was capable of doing it. Was he framed? Did he kill a team mate? You will have to read it to find out.
READER BEWARE -- this book will take you on so many twists and turns - you will think you have it solved and boom - another fork in the road.
I received a copy of this book through the author --- all thoughts are my own.

Those who enjoy investigative suspense will love End Game by Rachel Dylan. Bailey from the FBI is paired with NCIS agent Marco to investigate the murder of a Navy SEAL. The investigation becomes more and more complex, as well as exceedingly dangerous for them, especially for Bailey.
When I first met Marco, I didn't think I would like him, but his commitment to doing his work well and his care for and protectiveness of Bailey won me over. Bailey was easy to like. She was down-to-earth, warm, and honest. Both Marco and Bailey were put through faith stretching situations, and they were brave in the face of danger. The secondary characters were likable, and I look forward to reading more about them in subsequent novels in the Capital Intrigue series.
A book like this contains a lot of details, as the investigative team conducted interviews and followed leads to crack the case. Readers who enjoy detective work will especially enjoy this novel, which is appropriate for men and women.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher, Bethany House, for review purposes. The thoughts expressed here are my own.

I loved the books in Rachel Dylan's Atlanta Justice series because they revealed her knowledge of the law and they also had a core group of characters that were featured in the three books of the series. Dylan now has a new series and this first book is a doozy! End Game is set in Washington, DC and it is filled with intrigue and an inside look at our US government. There are agents from the FBI, NCIS, and several other government agencies who become involved in the murders of several members of the military and the race begins to stop the deadly agenda of the killer (or killers)! Who is behind these murders and is government corruption involved?
FBI Special Agent Bailey Ryan and NCIS Special Agent Marco Agostini are the main focus in End Games but they are supported by several friends and it's obvious that future stories in the Capital Intrigue series will focus on some of these friends. This is one reason that I love Dylan's book....they allow us to build relationships with the characters as we continue to read the series. Second reason: Intrigue, action, and suspense. Just when I thought I knew who was behind these deadly acts, another clue would surface. Third reason: Dylan's books are always rich in faith and the act of prayer is always incorporated into the plot. Bailey has a deep faith in God and she talks to Him constantly and it is the Christian witness that she shares that helps to bolster Marco's own belief. And did I mention romance? Bailey and Marco's working relationship deepens into attraction and then into something more; their chemistry is intense but I can always count on Dylan to keep the romance exciting but unobjectionable.
I thoroughly enjoyed End Games and I am eager for the next book in the series. If you enjoy romantic suspense and Christian fiction, you definitely want to read this book. It's a keeper!
I received a complimentary copy from the author and publisher but there was no obligation for a positive review. These are my own thoughts and opinion.

What a fantastic start to a new series! Rachel Dylan kicks it up another notch with End Game, where action and adrenaline flow rapidly as an FBI agent and a NCIS specialist unravel a tightly woven conspiracy that becomes murderous. The plot is detailed and well-constructed with interesting twists and turns and how it all came together at the end was really fascinating. The storyline is easy to follow and each event had me turning the pages a little faster to try to figure out what really happened.
Bailey and Marco are both easy to like and cheer for. Bailey, in her structured, regimented way, is relatable and understandable. Marco, in his easy-going, spontaneous way, is quite lovable. The romance did not overshadow the suspense component of the story and balanced out the multiple near-death escapes. If you enjoy romantic suspense, this book is a must-read. I'm anxiously waiting for the next installment!
I received a copy of the book from Bethany House and was under no obligation to post a positive review. All comments and opinions are solely my own.

"These people are willing to kill to protect their secrets."
One by one, members of the most highly trained branches of the US military are being murdered in cold blood; not to mention that one of their own is the prime suspect, although the Navy SEAL vehemently insists upon his innocence. When NCIS Special Agent Marco Agostini and FBI Special Agent Bailey Ryan form an investigative team to track down the killer or killers, the clues they unearth multiply into questions that quickly spiral out of control. They've stumbled onto something bigger than they ever imagined; including their own unexpected attraction.
"End Game" proves to be an exacting blend of story and character, and although the plot moves quickly, the reader has no reason to feel rushed in and out of the story. The secondary characters are beautifully layered in between the primary ones, and the inspirational elements; although light, are strategically placed. But what seals the deal, so to speak, is the brilliant plotting, which is nearly impossible to crack, which makes this "end game" all the more enjoyable.
I received a copy of this book from the author and publisher. The opinions stated are entirely my own.
