A: Sandi, thank you for your question. You would want to look at any of our Dusk to Dawn night lights. These are the closest in overall function of the Sun Digit night lights. This particular Energizer model has an Auto feature, and will automatically turn on when the room is dark or off when the room is lit.

A: Amando, thank you for your question. While it will work, it was not made for outdoor use, so it may not last as long.
This the third time that I bought this wonderful nightlight. Trouble is, my home has no hallway outlets, I have found that using this in adjacent bedrooms helps a lot. It's super bright white, not a standard yucky yellow glow.

Bright light!
I’ve been looking for a night light bright enough to use as a porch light. Didn’t want to keep turning on our porch lights at night. I’m glad I found this light, it is bright! very bright! auto doesn't work as it doesn't turn off when I turn the room light on. I noticed if I have it on auto the light is a little dimmer which is good because the only feature this is missing and really needs is a high/low switch. if you need a bright light though this is it!

Auto function not precise; good lighting for dark spaces
For some reason, I thought this was a motion sensing light. It is not; it has an automatic feature to turn on in the dark. It seems like it stays on perpetually in the “dark”, even with another light on in the garage. As another reviewer mentioned I can only assume it would need a lot of bright light to eventually turn off when using the auto function.

I bought one of these to have a dim light in my bathroom for those middle-of-the-night pees when you don’t want to turn on the big light, but also don’t have much success navigating in the total darkness. This low, warm light was the perfect solution. I’ve bought another since then, and will likely buy more for other parts of my house. Bonus points for being sensor-activated by low light.

Nice soft bright light bar
I like that it’s quite bright, brighter than 90% of night lights - although they don’t call it a “night light.” I also don’t like that it’s so bright. It has an on/off/auto switch and it is compact and does not cover both outlets. It puts off a nice soft white vs yellow light. I know nothing of it’s durability as I just started to use it a week ago. Overall, I would recommend! I did like it enough after I bought the first one, I bought two more.

It is well built and durable light enough to move to wherever you want it. This particular one does not have a battery function. It’s been particularly nice for walking into a dark hallway at night or a bathroom.

It's not as sensitive to light as I would have liked, the windows is directly across from the outlet and it doesn't turn off unless the overhead light is on. But it makes it easier to walk down in the basement without needing to turn on the lights.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t know at first where I wanted to put this light but we decided to put it in the bathroom and we absolutely love having it. It’s just enough light to see without cutting on the lights especially at night when you’re half awake. It’s right as soon as you walk in the door so it shines out into the hallway more also which is helpful and nice (our hallway leads to the rest of the house so it’s usually pitch black). I love the sensor function as well because when a brighter light is on it turns off saving its own energy and light. I do wish you could adjust the brightness some to have more warm or bright light but overall it’s a nice little light!

It would be perfect for a patio light outside, for me it is too bright for inside and needs a lot of light to have it automatically shut off. My indoor lights are not bright enough for the automatic on/off feature. Perfect size for travel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this light bar from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I found this light bar to be a decent size. Fits well into our home outlets. I really like the On, Auto and Off options so it can be used when needed, or set to auto and forget it. I have it in our living room for our geriatric dog who sleeps there now and it lights the whole room up at night. Would love for it to work in the hall closet but there is no outlet in there.
