Easy to light and burns a good while. I use to start my other logs.

Difficult/slow to light. These take more effort to get going than other brands. They also don't look as nice while burning and are noticeably smaller.

Exactly what I needed

I had never purchased this brand before, but it was going to get cold and Target did not have what I normally purchase, so I decided to give them a shot. These have far exceeded my expectations and I will definitely be purchasing the Enviro-Logs again! I had no problem lighting them (I followed the instructions and let it really catch fire before adding wood). They burn with significant flame for a LONG time. I do think they burn hotter than other starters as I'm constantly having to add wood to the fireplace, but I don't mind that at all. I definitely recommend these!

I wouldn't buy these firelogs again. They're way too small (about 7" across not including wrapper). The "log" is made of compressed clumps of cardboard. Might be better suited to an an outdoor fit pit as they don't look good in an indoor fireplace. The only positive things I can say is they're easy to light and you can put more than one in the fireplace unlike other firelogs.
