Faction Skyfire Target Drone

We liked this, we just didnt "love" it was great that the whole system could be synced. Injust feel this particular item would work best with a laser gun vs a bead one. There were times we werent sure if it would move where we want. Other than that great concept!

They drone itself is fun and my son likes it. However it's supposed to have an app so you can fly and control the drone. The app is absolute garbage. It doesn't work at all. If the app worked it would be very cool. My son likes to shoot nerf darts at it and that works pretty well. Just a bit of a letdown overall.

This little feature is pretty cool. The kids had a lot of fun playing with it and shooting it down it flies, it’s rechargeable, so it doesn’t need any batteries. This was gifted to me for free in exchange with my honest review.

Very newt concept that is definitely unique especially when you have no one else to play with, you try to shoot down the drone. Great quality and easy to charge. Has a light for the night and is easy to throw up and atart up. The only negatives is that it definitely has a mind of its own, pretty loud, and is painful when you are catching it and your finger hits the fan but otherwise fun!

Ok I think this could be fun. Maybe there is some learning curve to it that I haven’t figured out. It paired and we started using it, but the thing kept taking off and flying to my neighbors’ houses and down the street. I’m not sure what was happening. The charge time is pretty quick, but you do only get 7 minutes of play time.

If you have the faction gel battle system this target drone is a very fun add on. You can fly this drone manually so if you are interested in just having a drone to fly, that is possible. But it works best when you have the gel blasters and you get feedback right to your phone from their app about how many hits you got. Also, someone can operate the drone to try and evade the gel blasters and make it to a set point. Or the drone can fly by itself while the kids are shooting at it. This was a very fun add on to the system that could feasibly be sold w blaster.

This drone is awesome it can fly by itself or it can be flown manually. My kids love this thing ! It is really neat when it is in action it maneuvers itself to avoid being hit by the gel blaster. It is Bluetooth enabled. It can be used indoors as well as outside. It can be controlled by the faction app. The faction devices can all connect together.

This is super fun to play with both as a target as well as by itself. Make sure you have a taller ceiling as it goes fairly high and it when it hits something it loses control. We have other faction toys and this is for a much broader age range than the other items!

Perfect drone target for solo play or practice although I can't recommend more than one player at a time to lessen the chance of crossfire. The charge time seems appropriate (about 60 minutes) so you can't just play out of the box but a little planning ahead and you're ready for some great outdoor play.

This drone is amazing. We have been having so much fun with it. So simple to use. You can change how you want it to fly on its own, or you can control it from the app. Simply turn it on and toss it up very lightly and it takes over from there. Once your done with it, simply grab it out of the air. The drone is rechargeable and charges very quickly. You can use the bead guns, which are separate and use the drone as target practice and shot it down. So many hours of fun and laughs. For some reason if you get to close to it, it will follow you.

This drone is pretty cool to add to your kids collection of target practice. Run time lasts about 7 minutes and charges for about 45 minutes. Whats cool about this is you dont need to have the app in order to still play with it. You can do without app, with app and manually with app while playing multi player. Made to fall, very lightweight and seems durable.

The kids loved this, they managed to turn it into a game. There is an app you can download and use. This was pretty easy to use but it does need to be charged first. Which is great that it can charge instead of using batteries.

This thing is really cool right out of the package. You can throw it right in the air and it will fly by itself and not hit anything. The only downside is the battery life is VERY low . Takes a long time to charge and doesn't stayed charge for very long.

This drone works with Faction brand gel blaster or foam dart blasters. It can fly on its own (auto pilot) or with the app. The app can track hits and accuracy which is cool! This is both lightweight and durable.

Also, they should’ve put an emergency mode on the drone somewhere to where if the drone flys too high to shoot, or gets on a nearby roof you could get it down with ease and without parental use. In conclusion, this small little drone with hand gesture control and the firing range game mode built into it, is an absolute blast to fly. It's a great gift for tech enthusiasts and drone hobbyists, offering a unique and entertaining experience. With a minor battery upgrade and controls to get the drone unstuck, it could easily be a 5-star product."

The drone must be charged by using the provided charging cable. The adapter is not provided but I was able to use one we had from our phones. It took about an hour to fully charge. There is an app to download which isn’t mandatory, but I did since it was highly recommended based on the instructions. The app was easy to start up and kept track of hits and the height and difficulty. This can be done without the app which after a few rounds we closed the app since the drone kept disconnecting. Playing without the app was easy enough. We tossed to launch and grabbed it to stop. I thought it was going to go over my fence a few times but was able to grab it before that happened. I would recommend using it in an area that is wide open. This is a bit more of a challenge for a target, but that just added to the fun.

My boys have absolutely loved playing with this gel blasters and target drone. The drone is what made shooting the guns so fun. It turned into competitions with who could hit the target the most or the fastest. Without the target drone, it wouldn't have kept my kids attention as long. As a parent, the only downside I saw was that it wanted you to get an app on your phone to go with the gun. I want my kids to put their phones down and play not have to incorporate the phone into something that really didn't have to have electronics incorporated into it. But overall, my kids (the boys and the girls) and even my husband and I enjoyed playing with this.

Faction skyfire Target drone goes with the gel bead blaster when I open the box the drone was little small and the on and off button was hard to spot. Overall once you throw it up in the air it fly by itself.
