The footrest is very wide with plenty of space for your feet. It has a slight rock to it which allows you to get in a position comfortable for you. The only thing I'd prefer is if the height were adjustable, but at its current height it works great to get my body in alignment. I received this product through Stellar Product Testing.

The Breyta footrest is a big improvement from the cardboard box I had been using. I appreciate the classic design and black color which fits in with my natural style. My favorite feature is having the option to either use the footrest in the stable position or when I start getting fidgety I can transition it to a rocking position. Assembly and changing the position is easy and straightforward. The material seems to be a hard plastic that is thick and appears to be very durable which will hopefully be long lasting. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Breyta Footrest is a great addition to my workspace. I love how easy it is to put together. It comes with 3 simple parts - the foot rest and 2 removable legs. You can set the legs to sit normally, or flip them over to create a rocking foot rest. I personally love the rocking feature, as I'm constantly moving around and fidgeting at my desk. This really allows me to keep my motion and concentration without getting up constantly. I definitely feel like my body is thanking me for using this product. My back doesn’t ache like it did from sitting for so long. The footrest is very compact and easy to store, which makes it perfect for any office space. It's very well made and feels incredibly sturdy. I'm really pleased with it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well.. this is a product I never thought I needed or would help me. I work from home, and my work station isn’t exactly ergonomically set up. I thought the footrest would be silly and wouldn’t help me at all, but boy was I surprised! It has been super comfortable and has helped my seating situation a lot! I do think this footrest will help me in the long run. I love that there’s two ways to do it (I mostly use the side that you can ‘rock’) and I especially love that it’s portable. You can take off the sides and put them underneath, and it has a ‘handle’ you can carry it by. This is especially useful as sometimes I do go into our office and I would like to be comfortable when I’m there. The design allows me to flex my calves without the footrest sliding around. One area to be aware of, as a hard plastic the footrest works better for me when I have slippers on, rather than being barefoot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Fellowes Breyta footrest overall is a solid product. I have long legs and sit for many hours at a computer for work. Previously I would use the support bar on my desk to lift my feet and obtain a more ergonomic position for my back, however that bar was too high for optimal comfort. I’ll start with the cons as there is one thing and the reason for 4 stars from me. The texture on the footrest is not the most comfortable on bare feet. It is not unusable and in shoes is perfectly fine. I’m assuming it’s for anti-slip purposes, but as I work from home I am barefoot a majority of the time at my desk. For pros: the overall design and storage of the legs is simple and convenient. They have storage slots on the underside they easily slip into and out of. There are 3 options - standard tilt, elevated tilt, and a rocking tilt. I used all three and found the standard tilt to be the most comfortable. It is large enough for an array of foot sizes but not so big it doesn’t fit under the desk or cause issues with my chair placement. However a small writing table or closes back desk might cause some issues. I am a size 10 shoe and have plenty of room above and below my feet. Overall I am very pleased and have been using it daily and do find I end up with my feet flat and less fidgety throughout the day. It also reduces the times I cross my legs which is horrible posture for your hips and back. It also allows me to naturally push back in my chair for a better back alignment and less slouching. While it can accommodate many different resting positions, it’s also large enough to get in the way when you are trying to get up from your desk. It is also very simple. No tools needed to adjust the configurations to your liking. I also enjoy that is rocks back & forth. Helps a bit with my fidgeting. Overall I would recommend this footrest if you have the space for it.

I've been working on ergonomic adjustments at my desk, and this was a game changer. I have short legs and a long torso, so being able to work comfortably for 8 hours has been a challenge. I love the adjustability of this footrest! At first I was hesitant about the large size of it, but it's very useful for changing posture throughout work. It took some work for me to get the height attachments in, but assembly was straightforward. The footrest is very sturdy. The surface texture is like a foot massage when wearing socks! It does have a rocking maneuver at the highest height, but it takes some work to rock forward. I feel like this is better for activating the legs as opposed to fidgeting or relaxing. My favorite part about it is that it has eliminated my forward leaning posture by keeping my legs at the proper angle while sitting. I feel it's very durable, and I highly recommend!

After opening the box, the instructions were very clear on how to attach and adjust the height of the footrest. You have the option of three different angles for the unit. You can even flip the legs if you need the unit to rock back and forth. If you want the unit to be at the lowest level, the legs store underneath. This footrest is so lightweight you can use it while working at your desk then pick it up and carry it to the couch while watching the television. The color is neutral and can go with any decor. I love the top of the footrest with its wavy design. While wearing socks you can run your feet back and forth and it gives a massaging feel. I am a size 10 and it is the perfect size for either a man or woman. Overall the Fellowes Breyta Footrest is convenient, lightweight and perfect for anyone needing to improve their posture while working at a desk or relaxing while sitting in a chair.

When I had the opportunity to receive the Breyta Footrest as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I decided now was the time It came in a compact box and was SUPER easy to put together - actually very intuitive and only took like 10 seconds. It is sturdy, doesn't feel flimsy, and I felt comfortable putting my weight on it. It also fit underneath my home office desk with no issues, even with all of my computer cords also underneath. However, it took some time to REMEMBER to use it! When I did, though, it was comfortable - even with my bare feet. I know I'm on my way to better posture.

Being a school nurse, I need something that is easy to clean and ergonomic. I was really struggling with my current set up and a footrest ended up being what I needed to relieve much of my lower back and hip pain. The footrest seems durable enough for me to be able to get long usage and allows me to clean it without fear of ruining the product. The design has a “rocking” feature that allows me to still feel active while sitting at my desk (as someone who enjoys moving my legs and rocking). I also appreciated the nonskid lining on the bottom. I was expecting this to be much heavier, but I can honestly carry it with one hand and it’s super leightweight, but it truly doesn’t feel cheap. What I liked most about this foot rest was its portability and size. I can easily remove it from under my desk, if needed. The sides have a hole so you can pick it up with ease. Overall, it’s simple and durable and seems to make all the difference for me! I’ve included picture below of the product as is, the treaded bottom, and the side angle.

I change positions a lot from crossing my legs to sitting on my feet and then I tend to cut off circulation to one of my legs, so I've benefited immensely from this footrest. It gives your feet somewhere to rest with comfort and support, in addition to the rocking feature, which promotes circulation. It has an adjustable height, so you can decide how bent or straight you would like your knees, and it's quick and easy to adjust. I don't own any other footrests, but from what I've seen it appears to be more sleek and less bulky than others on the market. It's easy to transport if you need to store it somewhere when not in use or you can push it under the desk to keep it out of sight. I spend probably 75% of my work at a desk, so I get a lot of use out of this footrest and it's held up really well the last few weeks of use. My only con would be the size of the footrest, I would prefer a small platform for myself, and wish it came in different sizes. I've used tricks around my office such as stacked books or one of the kiddos step stools but they aren't ideal or slip and move. This is the perfect solution. The design and simple and subtle. It's just there, doing its awesome job. I have no doubt it will last my lifetime. Very sturdy and has decent weight. I use this in my office at my desk mainly but I've also toted it to the couch (which is also too high for this shorty) and had a much better experience on a recent snow day watching movies with the kids. Ergonomics are important guys! What I like about the Breyta Footrest is my hips in addition to my legs are getting the proper circulation they need and do not ache! Very thankful! I run a small ministry out of my home and I home school four littles. We live in Monterey CA and are always busy. I am constantly looking for ways to improve. I’ve notice that I have been slouching more and more at my desk and this foot rest has really helped me be conscientious of my posture. Its presence alone is enough to remind me to sit up straight. Another thing is that, though I’m only 34, I have old achy knees and I can tell already that this product is going to help with my knee pain. I used this footrest at my kitchen table where I work on my laptop during the day. The quality of the footrest is amazing, it is extremely sturdy and pleasing to the eye. However there was an extremely odd and obnoxious smell coming off of it. The footrest offers three different modes to rest your feet on. Using the risers to lift the footrest up felt good at first but quickly became uncomfortable to me causing hip discomfort. The risers do easily come out in order to store or flip them over for rocking mode. Unfortunately the rocking mode was quite uncomfortable as well. I felt the same hip discomfort and the rocking motion did not seem natural. I finally easily popped out the risers again and tried the footrest with no risers at all. It was very comfortable at that point. My hips felt good and I felt as if there was less pressure on my back. After one hour of use all still felt good. When I was done with work I placed the risers back into the bottom of the footrest with ease. This option makes a simple way to store the risers when not in use. Overall it was a good product with a great design.
