Other brands are better for early detection
This is supposed to be the most sensitive test on the market, but it was easily the most difficult to read. I thought I might’ve seen the faintest line so I continued to use a clear blue line test, clear blue digital test, and a pregmate test. All of those came back way more conclusive than the first response early result, even though they’re less sensitive! Also, I used the same morning urine with all tests.

False positives
These test used to be the most reliable. Then 2-3 years ago they changes and now you get false positives all the time. I would never recommend these test to anyone but especially someone struggling with infertility. These test would give someone false hope. My oldest child is coming up 20 and my youngest is 11 months old so it's been over 20 years using these tests. The quality has dropped dramatically.

DUDS!
Both of these tests were duds!! And this isn’t the time this has happened. The last 2 pack test I bought was 1 dud. An absolute waste of money! So disappointed.

Faulty test
I bought a test 4 hours ago and when I went home to take it. The test was faulty, no lines came up at all.

I had dark positive lines on multiple other brand tests. Bought two separate packs of these and both showed negative. Caused a lot of fear and anxiety until I realized these are just junk.

Faulty Tests
I ordered a pack of two tests and both were faulty. I had to hold them for much longer than five seconds for the liquid to begin running, and for one of the tests the dye was messed up. (Only showed at the bottom and top of the test line.). Extremely stressful when you are going through IVF. Fortunately, I had cheap strip tests that worked great.

I took a first response 6 days sooner and got what I thought was a positive test….only for it to be wrong. I will never buy this brand again.

False Positive
Took two tests a few days apart. Both positive. Tried a different brand after reading these reviews, 2 days after the last positive test. That one was negative. Don't plan on using these again. The only reason I did is because the other brands were bought out. I see why now 😅

I’ve gotten multiple faint lines on these, my HCG was negative. We planned my youngest 4 years ago and had no issues with these tests. My faint lines I’ve been getting look exactly like they did when I got pregnant with my 4 year old. So seeing the faints you think nothing of indents but I have taken a TON of these recently and they all have idents!!!

Not the same anymore
These are no longer the best choice. I got a horrible indent yesterday that looked like a positive line. Safe to say I won’t be using these in a while

TERRIBLE
I wasted money on over 3 boxes, got faint positives and got excited. Line didn’t get darker so I looked at 2 unused tests I had left and guess what they already had the line :/
