Description

Pregmate pregnancy tests detect human pregnancy hormone in urine.

The accuracy of home pregnancy test results vary from woman to woman. Each woman ovulates at a different time in her menstrual cycle. The average implantation time is 9 days past ovulation. It takes 2 or 3 days after implantation for the embryo to make enough hormone for a home pregnancy test to work. That means the majority of women will not get a positive result until 11 days past ovulation. Q: Are these as reliable as the test sticks? I just can't believe the price... 50 tests for $16 whereas 3 test sticks are $10? Whats the catch?

  • A: Yes they’re reliable. I found out at 5 weeks with these. You have to use a cup for the sample and when you’r early the lines can be faint.

  • A: No, urine may be collected in any clean, dry plastic or glass container. Then remove the test strip from the sealed pouch, immerse the strip into the urine with the arrow pointing towards the urine, and take the strip out after 5 seconds.

DEFECTIVE, False positives

Used to use them 3 years ago, and were great. Repurchased again because of previous great experience using these strips. Mustve gotten a pack that was defected or production is no longer as accurate as it once was. Gave many false positives and left really heartbreaking emotions of joy to confusion once used a digital test.

Great strips for TTC!

I used these for months while we were TTC. When I finally was pregnant it showed a super faint positive when I was 4w3d and the line progressively got stronger. I plan on buying these again when we start trying for baby #3!

False positives not worth the savings

These worked well - until they didn’t. I have gotten 3 false positives in a row this cycle. I confirmed on FRER which is stark white. Definitely used them right, read them right, no interference to cause a false positive other than the test. In the picture, all 3 tests are dipped in the same cup and picture was taken inside the time window. I didn’t listen to the reviews and now I’m tossing the bag.

Cost-effective and simple
