FLEX SEAL Flood Protection Starter Kit

This is more of a temporary fix as oppose to a permanent solution, as it states it will only hold for about 2 weeks. The application was easy to put on, I put on a thick layer just to be sure it filled in the crack all the way. It did it’s job. It’s a great product to have in case of emergencies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When heavy rains hits it creates seepage under our bricks and leaks into our garage. The flex paste worked perfectly to seal the bottom row of bricks and we no longer have the leaks. Would recommend. Flex seal really works!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used Flex Seal Flood Protection Paste and we were very pleased with the results, so we gave Flex Seal Liquid Rubber in a Can a try. We had a lot of snow that had accumulated and a rush of warm weather which caused it all to melt very rapidly. We used the Flex Seal Removable Rubber around some outside problem areas and basement windows to prevent water from getting in and flooding our basement. It did a great job and everything stayed dry. This is a great product to have on hand just in case of emergencies. It applies fast and easily and will stop flood waters from getting into your home. Highly recommend!

I much prefer the spray over the paste, application was difficult and didn’t seem to take to the area well.

I think it will help to keep water from getting underneath from mopping, spills, etc. It is a bright yellow color but the nozzle is pretty precise and not too messy.

There were a couple of spots that I had to press down a few times to seal tiny holes and this stuff fixed that problem. Im going to try it on my chimney flashing next. Im always happy with flex seal products.

I love that this comes with everything that is needed. This seals gaps and cracks to watertight and really is productive. Easy to use, the paste spreads easily and is simple to work with. Having all the tools, gloves and brush in this kit is a plus.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Flex Seal flex paste flood protection a few weeks ago and it came at the perfect time because there was a small leak on my roof and my husband used this flex paste to seal it and it has worked wonders because with all the rain we have had lately the leak is gone. Great product.

I put this around the windows since they don’t get opened and with all the rain it hasn’t leaked at all. It was very easy to use. No mess to clean up and so far works great.

There's an area that tends to get moist after a lot of snow melts or after a heavy rain and it has caused an area to start crumbling in small bits. This is helping to stalk the issue for the time being, but I'm not sure if it's a permanent solution.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worked awesome for sealing a crack in a decorative water fountain. It is removable though, so hopefully it holds up well. I’m not quite sure what the purpose of it being removable is. I imagine most any project sealing a water leak would need to be permanent. It does the job, hopefully it stands the test of time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried the Flex Seal - Flex Paste Flood Protection Cartridge 9 oz and I was impressed. I applied it around the seams on some of my gutters that had been leaking. It definitely done it's job, and I haven't had anymore leaks. It looks nice after drying, and it dries pretty quickly. However, I did find it a little difficult applying it in the areas that I needed it. Overall it is great, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good sealer.

I used the paste flood protection around the trim at the bottom of my stand-up shower. Water was getting out and causing the trim to come unattached. Now I do not have to worry about any damaged it could cause. areas where water was seeping through. I would highly recommend to anyone needing to seal or protect against water damage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried the Flex Paste Flood Protection that comes in a cartridge you place in a chalking gun and found that it does exactly what it does seals out rain and moisture. Liquid Rubber seals up any size hole, I applied it to my storage shed which had a branch hit it and broke a hole through the ceiling and a wall. I placed the Flex seal on the hole and and it sealed it right up, no more leaks for me. Easy to follow instructions on the cartridge includes safety and important information for you to go by. 1/4 inch bead will cover about 21 linear foot. Drys to the touch in 2 to 6 hours, then fully cures in 24 to 48 hours. Great for any type of material, awnings, thresholds, seams, window seals and more. Easily removes by peeling off. Just like a piece of rubber, if you no longer need it. Does have a slight smell so I would recommend having ventilation when using, the smell does go away though. I plan on using this Flex Seal on and around my home, I would recommend for anyone needing to protect your property from rain and flood damage, this really does the trick. Tools required is a Chalking Gun.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product adheres to well to concrete and metal. But noticed you need to make sure the area (like the instructions say) is clean and free of any loose material. It is best to use a stiff brush or wire brush first to make sure you have a good seal. Remove any loose concrete dust or if using on metal make sure to remove any loose surface rust. The only problem is that I realized you may need to buy a bigger container or second container depending on what you are needing to cover. It seems to keep water out well. Only one area that was not cleaned well before applying allowed water to come in. The fact that it is removable may be a plus for some applications but i never have had a reason to try to remove it as I still need to maintain the seal against moisture.

The applicator makes its super easy-to-use and apply product into small areas in your house. The formula gets on thr thick side and definitely keeps seal water out. I would definitely recommend this product and will purchase again.
