FLEX SEAL Flood Protection 10 Oz. Liquid Rubber Sealant

This is more of a temporary fix as oppose to a permanent solution, as it states it will only hold for about 2 weeks. The application was easy to put on, I put on a thick layer just to be sure it filled in the crack all the way. It did it’s job. It’s a great product to have in case of emergencies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used Flex Seal Flood Protection Paste and we were very pleased with the results, so we gave Flex Seal Liquid Rubber in a Can a try. We had a lot of snow that had accumulated and a rush of warm weather which caused it all to melt very rapidly. We used the Flex Seal Removable Rubber around some outside problem areas and basement windows to prevent water from getting in and flooding our basement. It did a great job and everything stayed dry. This is a great product to have on hand just in case of emergencies. It applies fast and easily and will stop flood waters from getting into your home. Highly recommend!

There were a couple of spots that I had to press down a few times to seal tiny holes and this stuff fixed that problem. Im going to try it on my chimney flashing next. Im always happy with flex seal products.

I love that this comes with everything that is needed. This seals gaps and cracks to watertight and really is productive. Easy to use, the paste spreads easily and is simple to work with. Having all the tools, gloves and brush in this kit is a plus.

I put this around the windows since they don’t get opened and with all the rain it hasn’t leaked at all. It was very easy to use. No mess to clean up and so far works great.

But noticed you need to make sure the area (like the instructions say) is clean and free of any loose material. It is best to use a stiff brush or wire brush first to make sure you have a good seal. Remove any loose concrete dust or if using on metal make sure to remove any loose surface rust. The only problem is that I realized you may need to buy a bigger container or second container depending on what you are needing to cover. It seems to keep water out well. Only one area that was not cleaned well before applying allowed water to come in. The fact that it is removable may be a plus for some applications but i never have had a reason to try to remove it as I still need to maintain the seal against moisture.

My husband used the Flex Seal Liquid Flood Protections around our windows to stop any leaking. Easy to apply and so far has worked. Have more rain due today, so will see if it still works.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have tried several ways to stop our door to the basement from leaking during rainstorms. Nothing really worked until this. It is a liquid rubber that can be applied with a brush ( I suggest a strong one as product is thick) and stays exactly where you want it. The area we needed to seal was not all one size so the versatility for applying Flex Seal is what made the difference as we could apply it thicker or thinner in the gap. It dried to a perfect seal that is flexible enough that when we lower the door, it presses down and makes the seal we have been needing. Easy to work with and comes in an easy to store container. There is also a QR code on the package that takes you to a video and additional directions for use. I really appreciate when a product does what it promises.

And the best part is I still have extra soft another spot start silhouette I have some ready to go. Definitely as good as advertised.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This best used with Flex Paste flood protection. This is the seal to use AFTER you have applied the rubberized paste. After the paste dries, use a roller or brush to seal everything that you applied. I applied three coats allowing each coat to dry 3 hours and each coat was a little larger than the first. So easy to use both products together and I feel very confident that it will seal any cracks you may have.

It is dry, strong, flexible, rubberized, and watertight. It will seal out all of the water while remaining flexible. It is used for a final layer of protection that will help seal any smaller holes that you may have missed in your preparation for any flood or rain waters. When you put this down make sure that each coat is wider and overlaps the previous layers. This is a great help for protection against flood waters.

Do you want to use it as a final layer of protection, it’s good for your smaller cracks, pinholes and a smaller holes in general. It’s easy cleanup and you can easily remove if you want to later.
