Food Play Set - Gigglescape™: Toy Kitchen, Plastic, 18 Pieces, Ages 2+, Includes Play Vegetables & Fruit

It’s a cute idea but the execution isn’t there. It’s next to impossible to keep the pieces together. Not fun for a toddler.

These groceries are great! I’ve honestly been loving all the toys I’ve gotten from this (Target?) brand. Such great detail and they feel well made. Also love that they’re wrapped in paper and twine instead of plastic and zip ties.

I liked the variety of fruit and veggies it came with but did not like the fact that it’s nearly impossible to keep them together wants they’re taking apart

Most of the fruit and veggies do not snap back together. We have others that are Velcro or magnets that work much better; this is a terrible design.

What a great food play set! Complimented a kitchen/stove set we already had at home and the kids loved it! I would definitely recommend it for pretend play and for future chefs, restaurant owners, and homemakers!

The food stays together really well. It makes it like they are really cutting into it. The basket is perfect for a grocery trip to pick out their food. My son came up with many recipes from the variety of food items in this playset.

These fruits don’t stick together. If your toddler gets frustrated easily, invest in a better one

This is a cute little food playset! I thought it would be too young for my kids but they still like these kind of pretend food items. The food is more of a soft rubber than a hard plastic. It fits together as shown in my pictures, not with Velcro like other playsets.

Fruit doesn't go back together or falls apart easily.

The set is absolutely adorable. Once taken apart some of them are hard to get back together, even if following the inclosed instructions. It's extremely frustrating for my ND child. Otherwise, it is cute and I like that it isn't the usual plastic food (more rubbery texture).

I absolutely love the concept of this set, the kids love playing grocery store and pretend cooking, so it’s great for imaginative play. What was disappointing is the poor quality, the pieces do not go back together easily and continue to fall off, which is no fun. They also have a cheap plastic feel, I do not think they would last very long at all. What I really love is the pieces that do not come apart, those are much better quality, including the basket, pretend knife, cutting board, milk, juice and more. Velcro or alternative would have been better to keep these together.

I got this for my 7 year old daughter but this set is appropriate for ages 2 and up. She loves it! She enjoys using the items to play store, and the ability to pretend to slice the vegetables is one of her favorite features. This mom loves the basket that can be used to store all the items, and I was impressed with the high quality.

Cute set and basket, but the fruit and vegetable halves do not go back together very well. They barely stick together and fall apart right away. Wish I would’ve checked reviews before purchasing.

This is a really fun way for your toddler to play with food in a safe way. The assortment of fruits and veggies are brightly colored and obviously pre-cut so that the little knife makes the cutting realistic and a great play experience. The 28-piece set includes play containers of oatmeal and yogurt etc. and also included is a small cutting board and a handy carrying basket which emulates a supermarket hand basket. The fact that all of these components are plastic makes them extremely easy to wipe clean. Such a cute way to learn the names of various fruits and veggies and pretend to cut them up at the same time.

Gigglescape Food Set is a 28 piece set of food, cutting board, knife and carrying basket! This pretend set is awesome for kids to learn with. They can learn to chop fruits and veggies with all of these. The come apart easily and go back together with a twist and press. Some do come apart easily but if you take time with the twist and press, they will stay together. There is plenty of fruits and veggies that come apart like carrot, tomato, corn on the cob, grapes, orange, apple and many more. Along with the fruits and veggies there is also milk, juice cartons and containers of oatmeal, olives, yogurt and crackers. The boys loving playing with all the food and acting like they are cutting up the food. I highly recommend the Gigglescape Food Set for hours of pretend play fun!

I received this product for free from the Hey, Bullseye™ sampling program in exchange for my honest review. My daughters are having so much fun with their Gigglescape Food Playset. This is a fun playset that encourages their imaginations to soar. They can play grocery store and use the plastic shopping basket to shop for groceries. They can set up the food in their toy kitchen. Before they start cooking they can use the toy cutting board and plastic knife to chop the fruits and veggies. The fruits and veggies all come apart, to give the feel of really cutting them. The pieces easily snap back together for continued play. This set is nice quality and easily wipes clean. It’s fun to play with and has good replay value.

This set is very cute & my 14 month old loves it, however the produce does not fit back together well for the cutting aspect of this toy. If you stick the pieces together and toss them back in the basket they just fall right back apart.
