Q: Is it possible for the net to work on a flat surface such as cement? also, is it true that the sets don't cone with all the necessary poles (reviews say it doesnt)

Looks good but cheaply made!

I was so excited to play this on Mother’s Day. My husband was setting it up and putting the poles in the ground and they did not hold up. The poles started cracking. The birdies were smooshed and we could not reshape them. Looks good but cheaply made.

Professional kit

Professional kit - wow I’m not sure what the other reviews are about but we are impressed! Nice netting and setup. Setup is a bit confusing - we tried finding a YouTube video but couldn’t. We ended up attaching to our fence and it sits up great !! The shuttlecock are a bit cheap - already looked terrible after an hour of play. They seem to be put together with electronic tape? But the net is legit. Photo attached.

Poor Quality

A piece of the pole was missing, so we had to tie the net to a tree. Both birdies broke within a couple hours of play. We were very disappointed because this was a gift from the Easter Bunny.

Flimsy, fragile birdies

Basic inexpensive set. One birdie, made of the cheapest plastic human ingenuity has been able to invent, broke within five minutes of play; the other will probably fail by the time this review is posted.
