While my husband and I were heating up our leftovers my kids ate pizza…my husband was curious how the pizza tasted. When he told me how good the pizza was for gluten free. I was curious myself…To tell you the truth..we all had pizza for dinner.

This is great pizza and the combination of cheese and sauce are balanced, not too much sauce for the amount of cheese that is present. The sauce is balanced with the thickness of the crust. Unlike other gluten free pizzas, this can go directly on the oven rack, but it cooks more evenly on a pizza stone or pizza tray. Do not cook for the amount of time listed in the instructions, because it cooks fast and will burn quickly. I believe I cook it for 8 minutes.

What this pizza lacked in pepperoni, it made up for in crust flavor. There was a buttery, crispness to the crust that was surprising. Even though I was disappointed by the number of pepperonis, I would probably it this again. Overpriced for the size of pizza, but as far as gluten free frozen pizzas available at the Target near us, this one is the best I’ve tried

Freschetta makes the BEST gluten free cheese pizza! Their pizza is so good that my gluten loving family enjoys it too. But I prefer the cheese only version. The pepporoni has a gamey, foul taste. It really tastes like it's rancid meat. Choose the cheese version whenever possible and you can always add your own toppings. Oh, and save your money because, just like everything GF, this pizza is ridiculously overpriced.

I would put zero stars if I could. Very bad GF pizza. Cheese didn’t melt at all and there was no evidence of sauce. The dough however was good. That being said, there are many other, much better GF pizzas out there. Keep searching.
