It’s OK. It burns my skin to touch it and then whenever my dogs lick me it burns. (I don’t have any known allergies.) My dogs tolerated it, but will only eat it with cheese on top. The bag is way too big to only last for seven days. Wish it came with two sealed bags or smaller size.

My vet has recommended not to feed my dog a pure protein diet. Dogs need some fiber to stay healthy and the recommended amount is between 2-4%. This has 1%. Shame on me for trusting you to follow recommended guidelines. I only hope that I have not messed up my dog’s long term health by feeding him this food

I bought a bag of this new meat and slowly transitioned her, meal by meal she stopped touching her food until she wouldn’t eat anymore!! Wouldn’t recommend for my Aussie, might work for yours.

Today is day 5 of feeding our sweet boy and girl Freshpet Chicken, carrots and cranberries. This is a miracle dogfood to say the least! ❤️ Their itching, licking their paws AND runny poop completely stopped on day 2!!!! They absolutely LOVE this food and the chicken treats. THANK YOU so much Freshpet. I feel this food definitely improved their health and longevity.

My dog was diagnosed with a metastatic mast cell tumor and a severe stomach ulcer caused by the cancer. He totally stopped eating after having severe vomiting episodes. He is now in treatment for the ulcer and taking chemo for the cancer. FreshPet has proven to be the ONLY food he was willing and able to eat during the initial stages of treatment. He is now feeling MUCH better and doing well in treatment--without the the FreshPet we would probably have lost him. FreshPet is now his primary food and he is doing great. Thank you for providing such an excellent food!

We bought this in March for our 2 year old chihuahua. She was hardly eating anything unless I put people food on it. Even then she would not always eat it. She now eats it almost everytime. I do wish there was more chicken chunks in it. The bags that don't have much chicken She just picks at. But we just got a bag that had alot and she gobbled it up. So maybe less turkey and more chicken.

It is supposed to last for 7 days after opening. It lasted 1 day. And yes, it was months away from the expiration date and my refrigerator temperature was very cold.

Started feeding this to my 14yr old Goldendoodle who had lost her pep and walked around with her tail drooping. After 6 weeks, her tails up, she’s smiley again and has regained her puppy playfulness. Amazing transformation back to her younger self!

Our dogs love this food and we go through four large bags a week for our our big dogs. However, we keep running into bags that don't open easily and the bags end up ripping to the point you can't reseal them. See attached pictures.

Please do your research before buying this food . I purchased this food for my dog for a year and a half , now he has bad skin issues . 2 of my friends pets stopped eating the food as well.. we looked into it and many people have had issues . My dog would also throw up often . We switched food after going to the vet and he’s doing better now .
