Since it is a foam it does feel a little odd but once you get past the initial foam feeling it works wonders! I made pads with witch hazel and aloe and would use this as a topper for extra comfort! Not sure if it actually helps with healing but definitely helps with discomfort.

After I gave birth I didn’t bother to use this instead I used the Dermoplast spray and that burned so bad I threw that can away and tried this and oh man it felt like heavennn! I do feel it truly helped my healing since a had a tear as well. I STILL use this during my period on the last day if I have pad discomfort. You have to use a little because it goes a long way, this way it doesn’t feel like a wet diaper as someone mentioned. Bottom line you should get this lol

Bought this for my hospital bag. Applied it once and felt instant burning. Had to flush the area with water to get rid of the burn. Returned it as soon as I could. Do not buy.

Didnt work for me - 5 months ago
Delivered Thursday night, with a pretty bad tear down there. I bought the cooling maxi pads from Frida and they worked, but they are bulky down there. Bought this product because a lot of people recommended it. It didn't work for me, I got no relief. I bought the equate brand with lidocaine instead and that worked so much better for less money.

Thought this would be great to have but I started burning really bad and having more pain instead of less, turns out there is glycerin in this product which causes irritation. Do not recommend this product at all, stitch to regular witch hazel pads with NO additives.

I got this foam for tears after intercourse because ointment takes too long for it to heal and I just started using it today and the uncomfortable swelling feeling & irritation has gone away it looks like it healed up a little bit too.

Doesn’t feel like it’s doing much, feels too wet and doesn’t really give a cooling sensation. Tucks wipes are much better.

I had a first degree year with stitches and was swollen after birth. This helped so much when I got home didn't irritate me or give me any weird rash or itchiness down there. I didn't get the wipes thinking I wouldn't need them since I bought this and I wished I would have. the 2 products are a game changer and helped me heal quickly after my recovery. highly recommended

I’m a big fan of this product. You have to figure out the appropriate amount to use so you’re not soggy, but once you do it moistens the pad enough that it doesn’t hurt when it’s pressed against such a sensitive and swollen area. And at 4 days postpartum, I feel like it’s really helping to quicken the healing process.

Honestly, it stings when I put it on and I don’t love the wetness of it. There’s already so much fluid going on down there I don’t want to add to it with this foam. After 2 pregnancies, I much prefer dermoplast and tucks pads.

I bought this because I really like witch hazel pads that you get at the hospital. I used them with my son, but decided to try the foam this time around. I used it for 2 days and ended up with a rash all over my butt and inner thighs. Now my other pain is fine, but I have an itchy rash from this foam. Not fun and not worth it!
