Q: I turned the scroll wheel to the right until it stopped turning. However I don't need this camera until four days after today. If I just leave the wheel at where it is at, will it affect my pictures?

submitted by lily - 1 year ago
  • A: Hi, Lily thanks for reaching out about the Fujifilm Quicksnap 135 Flash 400-27exp Camera. It will not affect the pictures. What you’ll need to do is turn this scroll wheel to the right until it stops turning. This must be done before you take a shot to slide an empty frame into place. In fact, if you don’t do so, the camera won’t take a picture. If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7 am-11 pm CST.

Q: Will it hurt the film in a Fujifilm Quicksnap 135 Flash 400 camera to be scanned at the airport prior to boarding a plane?

submitted by Pam - 1 year ago
  • A: Hi Pam, thanks for reaching out about Fujifilm Quicksnap 135 Flash 400-27exp Camera. While many airports' X-ray machines aren't strong enough to cause damage to film with one pass, the damaging effect is cumulative, meaning that if you're going to go through multiple airports, you could end up with foggy film by the end of your trip. It is recommended to have it inspected by hand. If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.

I thought it would be fun to take a disposable camera on a family vacation. None of the photos came out well, not indoor with flash nor outdoor in bright sunlight. Viewfinder window doesn’t match with what you’re shooting so everyone’s head gets cut off. I have plenty of experience shooting film, this is just a terrible product. Twenty dollars for a disposable camera is already crazy and then you have to pay to develop the photos - about 5 of which are any good, if you’re lucky. Save your money and just print photos off your phone.

I am so beyond disappointed. We were so excited to find these. We wanted our kids to experience these cameras like we did when we were growing up. We purchased 2 of them during a fun family vacation. The price alone for 2 cameras was pretty high but we didn't care. What we do care about is that the quality we got back was trash. We made sure to read all instructions, made sure the lens was clean, etc. All in all we are out nearly $70 for cameras and prints for pictures you can barely even tell what it is you're looking at. I'm still glad the kids got the experience but I don't want anyone thinking it's like it used to be. I am so sad.

Poor quality photos. The flash doesn’t do much. You do not get 27 photos. More like 22 at best. It’s also hard finding places to develop it. It was about $16 to develop poor quality photos. This is an ongoing issue, as we have purchased 6 of these.

Love that these cameras still exists! This camera is small and compact and obviously super easy to use. They're 3x the price they used to be but everything is nowadays. There's something about taking a picture and not being able to see the outcome until you get them developed.

My daughter loves the idea of taking photos and not knowing what they look like until she has them developed. These were bought for her dance team to capture memories at their last dance competition. I just wish they weren’t so expensive, especially considering you have to pay to have them developed

The camera was defected. Most of the pictures taken were black or you could barely see them. Of course this is one out of the two I purchased, so we will see how the others come out. I’m still willing to try again but I’m hoping it won’t be disappointed again. I also had to pay $15 for pictures of nothing btw…so that part sucked a lot. It seems these cameras are hit or miss, so buy and use at your own risk I guess :)

I had a lot of fun with this camera, I took it to 2 concerts and some of the footage wasn't the best (fault on my part). However, my best shots at an intimate concert (inside with good lighting) came out as blanks. Very disappointed because a very special memory happened at that sjow and now it's all gone.
