About this item

Highlights

  • Pair that with his obsession with capturing Grogu as a midi-chlorian "donor," and it's very possible that he's hoping to transfer Baby Yoda's Force abilities to himself and become a full-fledged Sith to restore the Dark Side and the Empire in the aftermath of Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine's deaths.
  • A foundling was a term used in Mandalorian culture for children who were adopted by the warriors of Mandalore.
  • The Mandalorians were a clan-based culture composed of members from multiple species and bound by a common creed, language, and code. Known primarily as highly-effective mercenaries and bounty hunters, Mandalorians have at various points in galactic history played a major role as legendary warriors and conquerors.
  • All are warriors, but some go on to become bounty hunters or mercenaries. Most stay at their homes (Clan Wren, for example) and some are political idealists who operate in a technically bad way (Death Watch) but do have good points. Death Watch, for example, wasn't wrong about what they stood for.

Description

In the series, the protagonist known as "the Mandalorian" is hired to track down and capture Grogu for a remnant of the fallen Galactic Empire, but instead, he becomes his adoptive father and protects him from the Imperials. - who is the child ? Grogu, colloquially called Baby Yoda, became a fan favorite after the release of "The Mandalorian." With Season 3's premiere on March 1, there may be some lingering questions about the green creature.
