Q: How large of a leg will it fit?
submitted by LindaF - 6 years ago
A: This support fits knees measuring 12.5 - 17.5 inches. Thanks for asking!
On my second set and they are awesome. The velcro wore out after 3 years of use 5 days a week. Worth every penny. They need to be easier to find is the only problem I see.

I work at target and I do a ton of squatting, kneeling and climbing ladders all day. My knee cap started to hurt with sharp pain just above and below. I work retail so I can’t see a doctor for lack of funds and healthcare. I did some googling and figured it was most likely patellar tendinitis. I bought this brace before work this morning and wore it over my jeans. I didn’t have any issues with slipping and it was completely comfortable to wear the whole day. I had hardly any pain at all and was able to squat, climb and lift without issue. Worth the expense.

I bought this product a couple of months ago because I was looking for good knee support while still having flexibility. This knee brace really meets my needs except for 2 things. 1) it is too big and slides down below my knee so I’m constantly pulling it up. 2) the Velcro straps often pop open (maybe because it is too big?). I have numerous knee supports and this is my favorite. I am even considering taking it to an alterations shop to see if it can be made smaller.

It is too hot to wear my good knee braces. I got this so I could at least have some support. It is better than nothing and somewhat tolerable in the summer. It is not meant for really bad knees.

These photos do not show the side of the package which has the sizing on it. Measure under the knee, fits 12.5-17.5 inches. Looks great but was too small for us.

I wanted to like this very much, but it’s slips and does nothing for the swelling around my knee.

I bought this because someone commented that they were 6', 250# and it worked for them. I'm about a foot shorter, but I also struggle with finding something large enough to wear comfortably for a brace. This did the trick. It is plus-sized approved.

I bought this in Australia, it is excellent, but now I'm back in the UK, my wife has stolen (:-) it to use in the gym. No other strap seems to have the cross-over Velcros like these - and that's what makes it so easy to use - you can get exactly the tightness you need. So I just thought I'll go on the Internet and order another couple of pairs. But it seems that in the UK I can't get it! -- Unless you know different?

I'd never had knee pain before but I teach pre-school & need to squat down quite often. This brace provided almost instant relief and helped my knee heal much faster than I thought it could. It's super adjustable so I was able to get it to fit just right. I'm 5'8, 130lbs & it was able to pull tight enough to go over leggings without hurting or sliding around.

I bought this over the single strap, because I had read that it supported better. However, it was too big on me, the velcro on the side would get knocked off while running and scratched my inner thigh, and the velcro stopped sticking as well within a month. Now I knew going into it that is said one size fits most, and I me being a fairly muscular person assumed it would fit, but it obviously did not. I was able to flip it upside down and get it to fight fairly well, it also fixed the problem off the velcro being knocked off while running, but the velcro would come undone anyways, because I had to have it so tight. It was very frustrating to constantly be trying to play and adjust it and the same time, especially while I was goal keeper. Another problem that occurred was that it made my quad cramp up, by the end of preseason, I ended just having my school’s athletic trainer tape my knees instead. I will have to say that brace was very comfortable at first, it just didn’t work for me. If you are looking into buying a knee strap, I would suggest a single.

Happy - 5 years ago, Verified purchaser
I have 2 issues with this product: size and padding.
1) size: the only way I get this to work is if I wear this item upside down to line the padding up to my knee cap on the top and bottom. The pads are more on the side of the straps so to avoid pulling it too tight and cutting off circulation to get it across to where it needs to be, I wear it upside down. There’s no way to tell it is upside down unless someone were to look closely at the tag on the back. I wish it worked properly because the strap ends now point inward to my other leg and sometimes my leg brushes the straps and comes undone.
2) I was under the impression based on the description that the pads would be harder gel with 3 bumps like the single strap I have of this brand. I really like that one but needed a double for the top of my knee cap now. The pad on this one is 1 soft rectangular pad but it does seem to still apply decent pressure once it’s lined up where it’s needed. (Issue 1)
It fits ok under skinny jeans but it takes some shifting and maneuvering to keep it in place while pulling on the jeans. It is noticeable under the jeans.
I am keeping it even though it didn’t meet expectations only because it does help with pain I have when walking up hill or up stairs. I did get it on sale and wouldn’t keep it if I had paid full price.

Supportive but too big

I bought this last week and it works nice. While it is supportive, you can only tighten the straps so much. I've noticed that is does seem to bunch up in the back, and I have had the top strap slip below my kneecap while working out. However it is very supportive, and I am not returning it for this reason. I do wish they made them in different sizes. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
