Purchased 2 braces to support & alleviate pain prior to knee surgeries. This unit did not provide any relief for a 6-ft 1-in male who is not overweight & is otherwise healthy.

Virtually no support and not comfortable
This brace was one of five I tried and it gave almost no support, although I’ve liked Futuro for braces and supports for other body parts. If I cut the toes out of a loose sock and pulled it up over my knee, I would get about the same benefit and for far less money and at greater comfort. If you find it helps, that’s great, but I have autoimmune arthritis and need another surgery on my knees (first arthroscopic and undecided about best approach this time) and I didn’t find it did anything but annoy me to have on. Personally, I preferred the McDavid brace sold by Target, although their sizing seems off and despite having slim legs (size 6 in pants and anything but skinny pants look baggy on my legs), the chart indicating I was at the low end of S/M, I couldn’t even pull that up all the way so I’d suggest L/XL and I suspect many will need larger than that which may need to be purchased elsewhere as Target only has the two sizes. Additionally, I got it via DriveUp and they gave me one that had been used as it had someone’s leg hair and fuzz from clothing on it. I did not factor that into my score since that’s on Target, but just check yours to be sure it is indeed new.

Perfect for Exercizing
This knee brace works better for me than a different one I had that included "bells and whistles," that is to say had more complicated features. I use this one all the time to help me. As simple as it is, it enables me to walk a good distance in comfort.

Upgraded brace is amazing!
The new upgraded one is amazing (minor alteration to ones I purchased 6 months ago made a huge difference in comfort and support). A lot easier to stand, sit and get around in general with its support (knee replacement is inevitable, but this new brace is helping move around at home and work until then).

This knee brace bunches up at the knee while you wear it. It does not stay in place either above or below the knee. Worthless, ZERO support.

Dont waste your money

Not worth it
The top keeps falling down no matter how tight the strap is so it sits on or below the knee cap. Would not recommend.

Comfortable
Very comfortable, stays in place better than some . Doesn’t get hot. Adds average support in my opinion. More comfortable than the ones with Removable metal hinges. Fits better under slacks and straight leg jeans ( not skinny jeans) than bigger bulkier braces.

Works So Good!!!
I had pain in my knee the last 4 day's. I couldn't take 20 steps without getting a sharp pain in my knee. It would hurt so bad I would gasped out loud when the pain hit. I decided to go buy a knee support to help wrap something around for support. The moment I put it on I felt the strong support. I can now walk more steps without feeling a pinch. I did have a couple of tiny one's but not bad. I wanted to try it for a least a full day and I am so Happy with my purchase. Soon as you feel some pain in the knee that has last a couple of day's, go out and buy this! You won't regret it!!

Needs some re-design.
I brought this 3 days ago, have worn it 3 times. The side stabilizers (which I needed) are great, but the fabric is already picked and pulled horribly by the Velcro and patella ring seems to need some re-design. First time I wore it, I thought it would work even though the material became picked and pulled after the 1st time wearing it. With the 2nd and 3rd attempt to wear it, the patella ring made it too painful to wear. Today for the 4th attempt to wear and since the material was already picked horribly, I decided to remove the knee cap ring and see how it felt. Removing the patella ring made it somewhat bearable to wear. It appears the seams for the patella ring may be part of the problem, especially the seams immediately around the patella hole. I've worn Futuro products before and am very disappointed that the material is not holding up and that the patella ring has problems.

Product did as I expected, stabilize
Oh, yeah! My knee joint felt much better. After straining my knee joint, limping along unsupported for days, and jolting it on 3 different occasions (not being smart in the first place), I finally gave in and decided to buy something to support my knee joint. Admittedly, I prioritized price before purpose, meaning I nearly tried to be cheap about what to get. I saw this one, read the reviews, and got it since it was in stock. It took me a few tries to figure out how it should fit, but I found the right amount of wraparound, and I felt better. I'm pretty close to being on the mend. I will keep wearing it until my knee is at least 100% before the day I strained it. Hard to believe that slipping on a shoe activates the part of the knee that is in pain. While wearing this, doing anything that requires stability, I was able to with a more manageable limp. Thanks FUTURO/3M!

Good stabilizer, horrible material
Great for stabilization but the stitching around the knee hole is extremely rough and incredibly uncomfortable if you're doing any actual movement while wearing this brace.
