We really liked the design of this coffee table, which is why this was especially disappointing. After unpacking, we found that both drawers were cracked. It appears to be a packaging issue — the table legs were placed inside the drawers, and during transportation they likely shifted and caused damage. This makes the drawers very vulnerable during shipping and seems like something that could be prevented with better packaging. On top of that, returning and repacking such a heavy item is extremely troublesome. Honestly, we wish the manufacturer could simply send replacement drawers instead of requiring a full return. Because we like the table so much, we’ve decided to try ordering a similar one from another manufacturer to see if it arrives in better condition. The product itself has great potential, but the packaging and resolution process really need improvement.
