I dont have knowledge of these type of lights but these worked well and are beautiful
I bought these for my daughter to put up in her room instead of white string lights because those are boring. she set a simple squiggle design and they work wonderfully. beautiful transitions and coloring. im planning to buy 2 more for my room to write some words above my bed as a focal point.

One of the best light strips you can get
Good colors, not blinding to look at directly. Works with google home. Very flexible and seems durable, has been bent too far and abused lightly as a floor light. CONS; Barrel plugs are a solved problem, lets move to USB C PD. Lint and cat hair magnet. You pay extra for quality.

Started having problems early on
Started having issues after just a few hours of use. One 3-4 inch segment never turns off. There is a constant dull blue glow from that section. Another 3-4 inch section that lights up, but never with the right color. Haven't bent it into any shapes at all either--it's just laying on a table top. This is the second set of cync lights that I've had this problem with, though the previous one didn't have issues until at least after 30 hours of total use. If they weren't defective, they'd be awesome. Don't throw away the packaging until you've passed the point of target accepting a return. The app is also very clunky, but usable. Sometimes the programmed routines don't work, so you have to delete and reenter them in the app.

Great Lighting Strip
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such a fun way to decorate or add a fun pop to any room. We set this up in my daughters room in the shape of a star and it is absolutely stunning. Definitely takes time to get the pattern perfect and to adjust the clips but overall completely worth it! Definitely recommend!

I put this in my daughter room as she likes colorful things plus she likes to use it as a night light also. This was quite easy to set up. I like the design, variety of colors and effects. This is also easy to wipe clean if dust gets on it. For my daughter to be happy makes me happy. I highly recommend this.

It has several different color options which is great. It took about 2 hours for us to create the design on her wall but we love the finished product!

I am especially excited to use them at Halloween because we are a house that tends to go all out for Halloween. Right now I have them set up in my craft room, which honestly is pretty freaking sweet! I may have to get a second set for Halloween so that I don’t havd to take these down! They come with an app that you can download to your phone so you have some pretty precise control of what’s happening with the lights, and they connect to my Alexa. If you want to take your lighting to the next level, these are definitely for you!

So easy to change shapes

Bright light

The negative is the app interface, I have tried to get it to connect to the light with no success. I am using an up to date iPhone. Hopefully it will connect soon because I see some good possibilities with this fun light.
