A: No, the Monster 5m Smart Neon LED Light Strip (the flexible neon-style rope light, indoor/outdoor version) does not stick well to not-smooth (textured) walls using its own adhesive.
This is a thick, flexible neon rope light (not a flat tape strip). It has a smooth silicone or PVC outer jacket with a 3M-style adhesive backing or mounting options.
The built-in adhesive is designed for smooth, clean, flat surfaces (like painted drywall, glass, wood, or cabinets). On textured walls (orange peel, popcorn, knockdown, brick, etc.), the adhesive only contacts the high points, so it has much less surface area to grip

Controllers are an issue
The neon lighting is excellent but the device controllers are cheaply made and give out easily. Im on my third set of lights because the controller itself is tied to the neon lights.
