GE 65W Equivalent CYNC Dynamic Effects Smart LED BR30 Indoor Floodlight Bulb Alexa and Google Compatible Multicolored

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my accent spotlights around my family den and hallways to give them color and modern smart lighting using color changing BR30 LED light bulbs. The Cync GE BR30 performed very well. The set up is easy, and able to connect to my Alexa set up. I am not sure (yet), I am not able to voice a command for the preset lightshows from Alexa, only thru the Cync app. On/Off/Change color or brightness works via voice commands. For the preset lightshows - the light is not as bright - so it might be best on lower ceilings - I have one on my foyer that has a two story ceiling. Brightness of the white and yellow are great - lights up my entry.

You can control the color and brightness output either through the app or a smart home device like Alexa. Setup is simple, the app will find and connect to the light. You can group them together by room or however you want and control multiple lights all at once.

The color changing ability goes beyond my expectations! There is no lag time from when I change the color to my phone, for it to actually happen! It happens almost instantaneously! I can change the vibe/energy in any room with one click on my phone. I have one in each major room in my home!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I bought my house, in 2018, I tried to get all of the lighting set up with high end smart bulbs. I ended up needing around 75 light bulbs to cover all of the rooms, common areas, and outdoor lights. When I started, I picked a major brand name and got around a thousand dollars in lights, but didn't buy every bulb I needed because that would have been closer to 5 grand. Over the last few years, the major brand I selected did not continue making the BR30 version of the bulbs I got, so I had to scrounge around to find refurbished or used bulbs. I tried this bulb because it seems pretty similar and was less than half the cost. The free app was quick and easy to set up and get linked to the bulb. It has a wide array of any colors you could want and a spectrum of regular white bulbs ranging from warm to cool. It also has preset effects that mimic candle light, fireworks, and a few other dynamic effects that were cool. I haven't used it for long, so I can't comment on longevity or any issues between differing bulb networks, but there haven't been any issues so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my GE Smart Light and wasn't quite sure what to expect. I've got many different types of smart lights so I am familiar with setup of these types of devices. This one couldn't have been easier. Aside from the annoyance of having to download yet another smart app, GE made it super easy with Cync. I screwed in the bulb, turned on the switch, downloaded the app, created my account, clicked a button to search for a light, it found it instantly, gave it a name and room, then it checked for an update. It updated the bulb in a minute or two and then I was able to use the app. It's got some cool pre-sets like Volcano and Candlelight that preset the tone, but you can also adjust the color to any color you want, or brightness. Definitely a good vibrant color light.

After that changing the colors of the bulbs was really fun and cool! So many different colors and it definitely sets the mood as well . I need these all throughout my house now. I set this up in my bedroom as a amber / yellow and alexa set it to go off at 6am as a sunrise color. It's been great.

App allows you to change the colors of the bulb, set timers, adjust the brightness or you can simply use pre set light settings. Alexa can turn the light on or off. It’s bright enough and energy efficient. Very pleased.

It has different kinds of light shows, you could do all kind of things with this light. It’s dimmable and connects to an app on your phone, and says it should last 3yrs!

This has to go into a specific light socket and then you’re stuck with it. I would only recommend this in a room with multiple light options and controls.

You could do all kind of things with these lights. You can have certain colors. It's the indoor flood light dimmable with with the app. It provides more light output than a 65 watt is going to last up to 3 years based on rated life at 3 hours use per day which is really awesome it has full color turnable white light. You can put the app in it. You can set it the way you want it. You can have a brighter you can do volcanoes you can do fireworks. You could do different light shows. You can set scene schedules and control away from home that can connects directly to a Wi-Fi router. It has a good value as well as quality and these are really awesome. If you're going to be away, you're able to set the app to where you can turn on the lights and turn them off whenever you need to very easy to put in to the light and I recommend this to our family and friends. The very easy to use as well. The app is not that hard which is really awesome. It's very easy and a older person is able to use it without any problems

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t have very much light in my computer room so I wanted to install bulbs that would have a range of colors in general and be able to do many colors at the same time as well as being able to sync with the music. This bulb does all of that and more. It is also a super bright bulb in general lighting up my entire computer room with only 2 bulbs. I love how easily it connects with my Alexa. I can turn it on and off by saying “turn on computer room lights”. I can even change the colors by voice command although I like using the app to play around with the different color modes and settings. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting a multicolor smart bulb that doesn’t require a hub.
