[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, I wasn’t expecting a lot from the GE cool white plug-in tape light kit. Surprisingly I got way more than I expected. It was extremely easy to set up and looks amazing under my kitchen cabinets!! The easy to cut feature makes it even easier to install for a more precise fit. The adults and kids agree looks great without the over powering light that many plug in lights give.

The lights are bright, so maybe we could use them in the garage since some of our overhead lights don't work. This seems easy to install.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This LED tape lighting is a great idea for spaces where you need extra or accent lighting. I actually used it to backlight a TV in our game room. I was surprised at how bright the lights are. It's easy to install, and I had no issues with it sticking to the back of the TV. The power head is fairly large, so I'm not sure it would be easy to hide in other applications such as under cabinet lighting, etc.

Once i install this LED strip light its bright that people start noticing it and it helping us too. The adhesive is pretty good which helps to install it nicely and perfectly. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not expect these lights to be so bright! The strip comes in two pieces. They connect at the ends. If they need to be cut, you’d cut on the lines where indicated to keep the connection. It’s a tape light so it sticks pretty much anywhere. I really like it and there is and off/on switch near the plug. I’m not sure what to do if I wanted to move them so I guess they’re stuck on the spot that it’s attached to.

I like to have underlighting for my cabinets so my kids aren't so scared at night and this is a great option. I had it all set up in under 15 minutes and had it bend a corner with no issues. The stickiness on this product is very good!

I currently have these mounted in my garage. They are pretty bright so they may not be a great option in a kids room or other areas. The adhesive worked to hold them up but I may use some other alternative adhesive since it is in the garage. The lights were easy to put up and the length is great for around a doorway.

My husband said the light strip was very easy to install, and is well-made and durable. The cool white is beautiful and adds the perfect amount of ambient light in our basement while we watch movies. We are already planning how to use our remaining strip in other parts of our house. We would highly recommend the GE Lighting White Tape Light!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are really nice and bright and perfect for kitchen cabinets. They are bright and light up the kitchen really nicely. The adhesion is good, except on the side with the plug and switch. Those seem to weigh it down a bit, but not a huge deal. This tape light came with connecting cords, connectors, clips, and screws. The tape light that I got was twenty-feet in length, and I like that the length could be adjusted as needed. I found it easy to install and the adhesion worked well. The light itself was very bright and provided decent illumination.

The lighting is everything if you want to enhance your space these would be perfect! Easy to install, can be used in any room or space of your choice. You can't go wrong with these lights. I would most definitely recommend this product to my family and friends!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It feels like just a few years ago when these LED strips were either low quality, or EXPENSIVE. I was pleasantly surprised that this GE set was neither, and boy is it bright! 20ft is very generous, and I was able to trim it down very easily to fit under our cabinets. Only wish would be an easier way to continue the strips over longer distances (to skip over the oven, for instance). They do include a few small extensions to enable you to cut and continue the run, but they're less than a foot. Overall highly recommended for the price!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The end result is great!! The kit lacks a few things. Firstly, the main challenge I encountered was having only one power source and trying to go under cabinets with a microwave/stove in the middle of the two sections. I am not sure the heat resistance level of these led lights but didn’t want to risk putting them directly over the stove, so I opted to drill holes in my cabinets to put them above the microwave. The brightness level is fantastic. Very bright! Adds so much ambiance and practicality when trying to cook in the shadows! The install took a bit of time. Would love if the kit had a long enough extension cord that could go over microwaves. And would love if the kit had “L” extenders that worked for corners. The ones they include in the kit were extremely challenging to work with as they are meant to puncture through the silicone on the tape and make the connection that way. You have to squeeze them very tight and even with pliers they did not click shut. Ultimately we had to strip away the silicone above the connection, which makes it a bit loose. We had to add a binder clip to keep it shut. I love the light switch option especially better than a remote (that gets lost and needs to be in close enough contact to work). The wiring that goes from the switch to the lights is versatile because it’s long, but is also a pain to hide once it’s in position. The stickiness of the tape is pretty good. But didn’t stick in places that weren’t in long flats areas (like the ridges between the cabinets all started falling down a few hours after install). The lights do get warm when they are on but I haven’t felt them get too hot. Love the end result, but takes patience and creativity to install. I also watched some online videos first to gain the confidence and understanding how to do this project.
