About the Author
Tatjana Montik studied at the University of Vienna, Austria, and the Minsk State Linguistic University, Belarus. For 25 years, she has worked as a freelance journalist for German, English, and Russian-language media, primarily radio stations such as Deutschlandradio, Deutschlandfunk, Norddeutscher Rundfunk, Österreichischer Rundfunk (ORF), and SRF. From 2002 to 2013, she produced numerous political reports from Belarus and Ukraine. Between 2007 and 2010, she reported on cultural and historical topics from Saint Petersburg, Russia.
