A: Gerber Cereals contain trace amounts of naturally occurring sugar – this is part of the carbohydrate content noted in the Nutrition Facts. The Nutrition Facts list less than 1 gram of added sugar per serving, which is not a significant amount in the diet. This is from some of the grain starch that is converted to sugar during the process of making our dry cereals. We do this to help give our dry cereal its very fine flake texture.
