submitted byKiki - 10 months agoA: I've been using this oatmeal for the past few weeks and we've mixed it with the formula and breatmilk and have had no issues. Our daughter definitely prefers it than just mixing with water.
submitted byPeterD - 8 months agoA: Hi AJ happy to clarify this one for you. Yes, you can add breastmilk or formula instead of water to prepare baby’s oatmeal. This can add extra nutrients and familiar flavors for your baby. However, it's recommended to avoid using regular cow's milk for babies under 12 months old. Always consult with your pediatrician before making changes to your baby's diet. Hope this helps!

A: It’s not added sugar, it’s from the carbohydrates normally present in the oatmeal and milk

Q: Can you mix this with other baby foods or does it have to be mixed with liquids only
A: Yes, Kendamil Creamy Oatmeal can be mixed with other baby foods like fruit or vegetable purées—not just liquids. We recommend adding a little liquid (such as water or formula) to achieve the right consistency for safe swallowing. For more information and personalized advice, please consult your healthcare professional.

Q: can i add this to my baby’s bottle along with her formula ?!
A: Hi Nicole, thanks for the great question. We don’t recommend adding Kendamil Baby Cereal (including Creamy Oatmeal) to your baby’s bottle. This is because it may pose a choking risk and could also lead to overfeeding. Our cereals are designed to be prepared with a spoon-fed texture and are best introduced when your little one is developmentally ready to begin solids – usually around 6 months, unless advised otherwise by a healthcare professional. If you’re ever unsure, we’d always suggest speaking with your health visitor or GP for guidance tailored to your baby’s needs.

Q: Can I add this to cold yogurt? Just for the added nutrients? Or does it have to be prepared warm?
A: Hi YG, for first feedings or when preparing traditionally, we recommend following the preparation instructions (typically using warm water, breast milk, or formula) to ensure the right consistency and to support easier digestion. You can add it to cold yogurt for extra nutrients if desired, but please consult your pediatrician first to make sure it's suitable for your baby's needs. Thank you.
