Description
The Gillette Fusion5 men's razor features 5 antifriction blades so you can get 5 blade closeness at an affordable price. The blades are spaced closely together for incredible comfort lasting you up to 20 shaves per blade refill. The precision trimmer on the back of the razor makes getting your hard to reach places easier and is great for styling your facial hair just the way you want it. Soft microfins gently stretch and smooth your skin to prepare the hairs for a close shave from our thinnest blades (first 4 blades) while the lubrastrip helps the blades glide over your skin more easily. A Lubrastrip is a thin strip that sits at the top of the razor, releasing lubricants while you shave, to produce a great glide. When you are no longer getting an optimal shave, the Lubrastrip fades to white, indicating that it might be time to change the blade. The ergonomic handle is designed for better control in wet conditions. All Fusion5 handles can fit all Gillette 5 blade razor refills (excluding GilletteLabs).

It's a great razor. My old one lasted me nearly 15 years but it's missing one important thing; the original came with a snap on cover that was fantastic because it protected the razor from getting dull and also protected everything else in my gym bag from the razor. The new ones don't have this anymore and it's a main reason I bought my new one, because my 15 year old handle had seen better days but is still going and that's largely due to the old case I'd bet. I hope they bring it back.

Up until last week I had been using 2 blade razors. My handle broke so I decided to try a Fusion 5. It was a revelation. The advertising does not do justice to to the experience. It is like wiping a soft piece of foam across your face/head and the bristles magically disappear.

I've been using Gillette Fusion5 blades for YEARS. They used to be the very best out there. The recent change to the plastic/rubber around the blades on the heads is terrible. It causes too much friction/drag, and prevents the blades from getting close enough to the skin for a close shave. This makes you use more pressure to get the blades closer, forces you to shave over the same spot over and over, and results in MORE cuts, not fewer. And you STILL don't have results as good as they used to be. Please go back to your old design or at least rethink the new one. I am searching for something new now after almost 20 years, because these are just plan unusable.

I always buy this razor and the last 3 times I’ve purchased I feel the razor has lost its quality and durability. I have dropped the razor and blade came off, tried to replace it twice and doesn’t work. Bought another razor, went to change the blade, doesn’t work. I’m leaving my long history with this razor and finding another.

I purchased Gillette Fusion5 4 Nos of Cartridges. ( Out of the 4 Cartridges one of them does not get attached to Handle and one of them Comes out During Shaving ) I am using Gillette Fusion since it's introduction into the Market. I am very badly disappointed )

A friend gave me one and it came with a blade cartridge refill. I used for the 1st time today and I'm very impressed. I gotta close smooth shave beard lined up perfect. Literally best shave and razor I've had in my whole 20 years of shaving. I started shaving at 15 yrs old I'm now 35 years old and nothing has came close to the shaving power ofGillette fusion 5!

I have a heavy beard growth and have had good luck with years of using the Mach 3. I recently tried the Fusion an discovered several things. First, a smoother, faster shave and without the nicks.Second, the grip is harder to adjust to (I am right handed) and could use improvement (like the Mach 3). And third, it costs less per shave. I got a week out of the Mach 3s. I am at 2 1/2 weeks with the Fusion and counting.

I've used this edition since its inception. Though I've been loyal to this product it has never lived up to a blade refill a month. Not even close. Because of price ill use past what I consider due date as comfort defines but overall better than others except safety razors which last about 3 to 4 days If I shave scalp and beard it's nearly a goner and my head is pretty thin. Picture a Franciscan friar with thinning hair lol. But it's the best I can find and am willing to compromise just wish it was closer to the advertised 20 shaves a 4 pack lasts almost a month.

I started using the Fusion when it first came out and I loved it. I told everyone about it, how I would get 2 months of great shaves and only changed cartridges because I felt I ought to. Then I received my latest batch of cartridges, the black ones. Ugh they were horrible. I got a better shave from my 2 month old cartridge than I did the new black ones. I am finally on my last one and will be looking for something different. You had something great and then you changed it!

I used these blades for years. I could get a good months worth out of these blades until they changed them. They now break down in a week and scratch your face up! They did this on purpose thinking you will replace blades more and Gillette makes more money. Done with your product.
