Glad Press'N Seal uses Griptex technology to protect food with a leak proof and airtight seal. Great for storing and protecting leftovers, this multipurpose wrap seals tightly onto a variety of surfaces, such as paper, plastic, metal, wood or other dry surfaces. The Griptex technology activates when pressure is applied and seals to itself, allowing you to create custom shaped food storage bags to freeze food or to make individual portions. It also works well around the house or at work to keep things clean and protected. Press'N Seal wrap is simple to use and easy to handle. Glad protects and seals with ease. USAGE DIRECTIONS: Pull the plastic food wrap from the roll. Use serrated lid for clean tearing. Place it over the desired area. Press food wrap along dry rim. Glad Press'N Seal wraps activated gripping texture tightly seals to almost any dry surface. CAUTION STATEMENTS: Avoid contact with cutting edge. A: Thanks for your question. Our Press' N Seal uses GriptexTM, a proprietary gripping technology. The sealing works with the help of the primary ingredients typically found in chewing gum, an old idea now applied to wrap! I have been using press n seal for quite some time and just recently I bought two of them. I am not sure if they changed something but both rolls were folded over which prevented me from pulling it out and secondly when I finally did get a piece out of the box it wouldn’t cut it I am very disappointed with the product lately I hope if I ever buy it again it will be back to normal

I am so disappointed in this product. Did it change in format or formula recently? I cannot tear it off neatly and resort to scissors. I am pretty sure earlier packaging or contents worked better.

I love Press N Seal .... however. The serated edge seems to tear but ends stops cutting at one end AND the white pieces that hold the "seal" paper in the box at the ends continues to come out even after I repeatedly put them back in. They just keep popping out. :( So bummed!

I've been buying press and seal for years. The last 2 roles I purchased were crap. Half the roll stuck to itself and wouldn't unroll. The cutting strip pulled off when I opened the package. I NEVER had problems in the past and I've been using it daily since it came out.

LOVE what the product does! HOWEVER... We should make the tear-away on the box more functional. I find that the plastic serrated edge breaks off very quickly. Then, I have no way to tear it off other than using scissors. Then, my scissors get sticky stuff on them, and I need to have them cleaned and sharpened.

I don't know what happened to Glad Press and Seal. The packaging is terrible. Your supposed to pull a tab to access the cutting tool but almost every time it tears away almost all the cardboard off and your left with a flimsy cover that doesn't work and the cutter doesn't cut. What good is a product if you can't use it.

Fine product for secure wrapping. However, its packaging is really frustratingly Bad. The packaging comes apart, less than halfway through the roll. The Press’nseal wrap, because of this, is at times difficult to tear off. Please consider redesigning its packaging so that it stays intact and wrap is easier to tear off.

The product is great, but I do believe it would be really beneficial to create a wider-sized product. If I need to cover the circumference of a large bowl it doesnt make it all the way across. Sure, I can use two sheets but trying to seal the seam in the middle is a pain. I really with the company would create a wider option.

So much better than cling wrap. But, the end pieces fall off every time and you can’t get all the press n seal off. Make the dispensary better. Product is good. But it falls off hinges and won’t roll off properly. Makemthe dispensary easier. Very irritating.thanks.

I used to LOVE Press and Seal. Don’t know what you changed in the formula but it is terrible now. The white cones on either side of the box keep falling out. The wrap keeps getting stuck. I get so frustrated that I have to use scissors to cut. I just can’t use it anymore even though I have been using for years before this change.

I agree that the cutter is terrible. It ALWAYS separates from the box. When the cutter separated from the box of my newest roll, I decided to try double-stick tape. It works well, but I should not have to do that with each new box!
