I do recommend these containers, but I caution that they're cheap and flimsy. They also came covered in grease, which was not disclosed in the materials. Luckily, I got it off with normal dish soap. These are flimsey, but, they're also a really great size for my chiffonaded kale which I keep in the fridge with a white handkerchief underneath to keep it fresh (this works remarkably well). The two containers fit in my space, and I can fill both with the kale (which is a lot for me), and it still stays fresh over time, and when one bin is used, I can remove it to store other things. This is better than just having a half full giant container for the fluffy kale. So, to me, these containers are a win-win, excellent problem solver, and I really like the neutral tone, too, a lot (white would have also been good). These containers are darned useful, and I can see them used for lasagna and cookies for potlucks, etc. Yes, they are cheapie, but also good if you're not going to be rough with them. The lids don't snap on, but that doesn't bother me. I have several nice, retro 20oz. turquoise painted glass food containers with no silicone seals and they work wonderfully, so I honestly don't think the "airtight seal" business really helps anything (except for long term storage). I am a fan of these gray-lidded containers and despite their drawbacks, I really reccomend them for their great utility.
