Says 7.81 cup but this container is at least one and a quarter cups shy of that, filled close to the top of the container but not in danger of overflowing when you move it or put the lid on. I could tell when I got it out of the box that it wasn't almost eight cups.

They call it new and improved with a “secure grip” lid. The lid itself doesn’t feel too different from the old one but it is definitely secure and doesn’t leak when I store soup in it. It’s easy to wash but be wary of foods that can stain like tomatoes. Overall easy to use and sturdy, recommend!

Fifteen cups brother, that is more storage than my cousin Ricky’s entire trailer. The lid snaps on tighter than my grandma’s hug at Christmas and it does not leak either, unless you count tears of joy. It is square, it is red, it is clear. A lot easier to open than other ones I've used before. Also doesn't have an overly plastic smell which is nice. I would definitely buy a pack of these in different sizes for lunch or even just for other storage items.
