A: Thank you for your interest in our products. Our Rubbermaid TakeAlongs Meal Prep Containers are made of materials that are safe for freezer use. Please note that plastics are less flexible when cold or frozen and may break if dropped. Also note that water expands when frozen, so when filled to capacity the container could expand and crack. Q: Can these containers be vacuum sealed?

These are made of microwave safe materials that can be used to reheat precooked foods to the proper recommended temperature. These containers are not intended for cooking. Q: What is the height of a single both with lid attached? I am seeing the measurements as 6.6 inches high, but that seems more like the entire package.

Q: Are these suitable for transporting hot foods?

A: Our Take Alongs Meal Prep Containers are safe for serving hot foods but not for transporting them because the heat might build pressure that can cause leakage. However, food inside can be heat in the microwave since the TakeAlongs Containers are safe inside the microwave. Thank you so much!

They hold a lot more than what you can tell from the picture. I used them for food I was taking to Christmas dinner. One held an entire fresh pineapple that I cut up. I put spinach dip in another one. And I had a lot of hand dipped chocolate pretzels in the last one. I was so pleased with how much food you could get into one bowl. They opened and closed very easily. And of course they washed up really well. They would be perfect to take a salad for lunch. I highly recommend these. I would also buy them for myself.

Haven’t had any spills or leaking either which is a big plus!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are very convenient to bring to family gatherings such as Thanksgiving and Christmas to bring home leftovers in, or to have on hand to send home with others and not have to worry about getting them back. Each tub holds around 5 cups of food, so you can make individual meals in each one or fill them individually with each food item. They are dishwasher safe on top rack only, can be frozen, and microwavable, but because they are plastic, I wouldn't recommend doing any of those personally for health reasons.

There are 4 bowls in a package, good for family use. They are also easy to wash. I am not sure if the pasta sauce would stain the boxes because they are black color.

Brought it to where I was going and back home. It had toppled over multiple times and just sat like that and did not leak even one time. They are big and can hold multiple servings of whatever food you put in. I will definitely buy these in the future.

They hold up well in the dishwasher and microwave, the lids stay secure, and I love that they stack to preserve space in your cabinets. There's no weird plastic smell either, which is always a bonus with Rubbermaid! These will be fantastic for meal prepping lunches, and I've already used them for storing chili. Great product!
