Too big
It was my mistake for assuming these would be similarly sized to other meal prep containers but they’re massive. I don’t need anywhere near 5 cups worth of food for lunch and I doubt they’ll fit in my lunch box. I really wanted bowls and wanted to stick with the Rubbermaid brand but I don’t see that they make a smaller size so I’ll have to go with something else. They do seem to be decent quality for cheap meal prep containers but I doubt they’ll last very long and seem a bit pricey for only 8 of them. And they could’ve added 2 more to make it enough for a work week, 8 seems like a weird number.

Not rectangular...
...these are round so if like me you prefer rectangular containers, be forewarned. They are however a decent quality and plenty big.

These Rubbermaid take along bowls hold so much!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 4-pack of Rubbermaid black take alongs that I received free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review are my new favorite things! They hold a lot more than what you can tell from the picture. I used them for food I was taking to Christmas dinner. One held an entire fresh pineapple that I cut up. I put spinach dip in another one. And I had a lot of hand dipped chocolate pretzels in the last one. I was so pleased with how much food you could get into one bowl. They opened and closed very easily. And of course they washed up really well. They would be perfect to take a salad for lunch. I highly recommend these. I would also buy them for myself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a bit of a container freak and i somehow didn’t have any this size this is perfect for salads and pasta and honestly anything but I’ve been getting so much use out of them and they haven’t discolored at all or anything very happy with them! Haven’t had any spills or leaking either which is a big plus!

Convenient To go containers
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are very convenient to bring to family gatherings such as Thanksgiving and Christmas to bring home leftovers in, or to have on hand to send home with others and not have to worry about getting them back. Each tub holds around 5 cups of food, so you can make individual meals in each one or fill them individually with each food item. They are dishwasher safe on top rack only, can be frozen, and microwavable, but because they are plastic, I wouldn't recommend doing any of those personally for health reasons.
