I have medium thick, fine hair that feels like it takes a good wrasslin' to stay put for the longer efforts. I love these new hairties from Gokdy, specifically made for sport. They are wide and stretchy, with little rubber dots on them for grip. They grip without pulling or causing breakage that I've noticed, and are super comfortable. They feel snug, not tight. Trust me, you notice tight after an hour or two.... Overall super happy with these, let's hope to a long life of this multi pack on the trails! 🏃♀️💨

I love that they are super stretchy and breathable, but don't pull on the hair like a regular elastic. The small dots hold the elastic tight around the hair. They are very comfortable to wear. They are durable and do not break easily and they are the perfect size for a ponytail.

It hasn’t stretched too far either with the dots being on there either. I do recommend these for anyone that wants a tight hold, but yet comfortable.

Other ties can slip out throughout the day and cause more flyaways, but these hold tight with the grip dots on them and keep my pony or bun in place all day! They are also great at night. The grip dots make them more fun to wear and give off that polka dot vibe. Fun and functional! The size is perfect to keep in a pocket, purse or desk for those times you need to get your hair out of your face. Definitely a summer must have with those beach winds!

My hair is thick and usually needs some serious strength to hold a ponytail all day, but this worked very well. I get headaches easily, and I can guarantee this will allow me to wear my hear up without getting the tension pain of a headache!

I honestly didn’t expect to be this impressed by something as simple as a hair tie, but Goody “Sport” Elastics have completely blown me away. I’ve tried countless brands over the years, and none have matched the combination of strength, stretch, and comfort these deliver. Whether I’m running, lifting, or just powering through a busy day, these elastics do not budge. No slipping, no snapping, and best of all—no painful tugging when I take them out. I can twist them multiple times for a secure hold without feeling like they’re cutting off circulation to my scalp. It’s rare to find a product that nails both performance and durability, but Goody nailed it here. I’ve used the same elastic for days and it still holds like new. I’m genuinely amazed—these little guys are total game changers. If you have thick, fine, curly, or stubborn hair—trust me, you NEED these.

These hair ties are smaller in size so they are perfect for a ponytail or braid. I love that I only had to twist it three times to get it to stay which felt way more comfortable. My main critique is that the application of the “dots” to help secure each tie in place is poor. Each one is a different size, not consistent in terms of placement and there are obvious areas where the paint dripped or smeared. They’ll be perfect for home use, though!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Goody Sport Seamless Hair Ties with Silicone Grips (8ct), and they’re hands down some of the best I’ve tried. The SlideProof® silicone grips really do their job—whether I’m working out at Orangetheory or wearing one all day, it stays exactly where I put it without sliding or loosening up. What I love most is the balance between breathability and firm hold. Even in high heat or during intense workouts, they don’t feel heavy or make my scalp sweat like some tighter bands do. The seamless design is gentle and doesn’t tug or cause breakage, which is a big plus for my thick, wavy hair. The sizing is spot-on—they’re snug enough for a secure fit but still stretch comfortably without losing shape. Not too loose and not too tight where you feel like you’re ripping your hair. If you have medium to thick hair, these wrap around twice or three times depending on the style, and they hold up great without stretching out quickly. Highly recommend if you need something reliable, damage-free, and comfortable for both workouts and everyday use.
