A: My primary home control system is a Homeseer Hometroller. This system does have a plugin to interface with nest products including the smoke alarm. The Homeseer can also be controlled by Alexa. I haven't tried this yet, but you should be able to connect Alexa to your smoke alarms in this way. There may also be other controllers or hubs that can do this but I don't know which ones.
