Foul Batch?

Based on the Extremely Positive Review, I have to question "did I receive a product from a 'bad batch?" I like and use Goya products. This is my first time tasting Goya Chorizo. Not my first time tasting Chorizo. I grew up in a family that cooks with Mexican blend/brands, discovered Spanish Chorizo while living abroad and prefer the spice blends of Spanish. This Chorizo that I received from Goya doesn't have the garlic and paprika flavors that I'm accustomed to; rather it tastes heavy of Chilli Powder and perhaps Cumin. It's the "2nd" worst Chorizo (1st goes to the French, haha) that I've ever tasted... not based on the flavor, that could be tolerable and used in an egg or sauce recipe, however, THIS has such clumps of hard grizzle that it's unappetizing. Chorizo shouldn't CRUNCH when you chew it...
