The GPX BC232 Portable Boom box comes with a top-loading CD player that has a 20 track programmable memory and can play CD and CD-R/RW discs. The negative LCD display with white backlight makes it easy to see what track number is playing. An AM/FM radio with telescopic FM antenna and built-in AM antenna make this music system perfect for people on the go. A 3.5mm audio line input and built-in speakers allow users to play their favorite songs direct from their MP3 music devices. Each Portable Boom box comes standard with an AC power cable (included), or can operate cordlessly with 6 C batteries (sold separately)

  • A: The “bumps” are rotary analog knobs for volume and radio tuning above the left and right speakers, respectively. There appears to be a small wire FM antenna near the power cord in the battery compartment. The user’s guide says an AM and FM antenna is built into the radio.

    Awesome CD/AM&FM radio player

The volume level is perfect for the pool this summer. The radio has great reception too. Good range on both AM and FM settings. I would recommend this product.

    Old school boombox

This reminds me of the exact boombox I had in high school nothing too complicated and good enough for jamming around the house and listening to books. Set up was easy and it does have an option for batteries so you can tote to the beach or park.

    Works Well for the price --AM/FM/CD player

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked up this boombox so I could have a radio in my office and take it outside when I worked on my deck. It plays AM/FM stations and CD's. The CD player is easy to use and does not skip unless the CD is scratched. The radio comes in pretty well, but inside my office the stations are harder to tune into. Pros: - Easy to use - Sound quality is good and not tin sounding - Has a plug in for headphones Cons: - The battery cover is HARD to get open. - The paint scratches easy--found that out while while opening the battery cover. Pro/Con: - Knobs turn really easy and you have to go slow to find a station.
