I HAVE OWNED THIS CD PLAYER FOR THE PAST 5 YEARS, AND TAKE IT ON MY DAILY WALKS. I HAVE SEVERAL MEDITATION CD'S AND DON'T HAVE TIME TO DOWNLOAD TO AN MP3 MY LAST ONE BROKE BECAUSE I DROPPED IT ON THE GROUND TOO MANY TIMES AND I DON'T RECOMMEND DOING THAT.,,,SO DEFINITELY PAY EXTRA FOR THE WARRANTY

I can listen to music without using up my phone battery, and switching discs is much easier and quicker than loading MP3 files. "Old school" is cool! It even has an equalizer feature that really does distinctly make the same song sound different.

Nice and peaceful and no one is fighting over what song to play next in the car. The product works well. The only problem is that it runs out of battery quickly. I need to buy rechargeable batteries.

No frills or extras to make it as easy to use as possible. She wanted to read audio books. Most gadgets would have been too complicated for her. This CD Player completely fits the bill!! It’s perfect for our needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This got delivered today and I’m immediately disappointed. First of all, the sound quality is very poor. There is a low level static sound that is audible, and I have experienced this no matter what CD I am playing. Additionally, this weird thing would happen where about every 3-4 seconds, the part of the song that’s playing will repeat and then the song continues on. I really had much higher hopes for this CD player but it’ll be going right back to the store because it’s unusable.

Nowadays, we rarely use this, but I still have a lot of cd songs and music that I need to play, so I got this ILive. Using normal battery, which is very convenient, means I don't have to worry. I forgot to charge. Sounds quality is good. All buttons are uncomplicated. Even my pre-teen asks to borrow it sometimes.

Comes with wired headphone buds, worked very well on the CD I had to dig out! Requires 2 double AA batteries, lasts fine: and the buds are decent sound quality. If you wanna go back to the 90s this is for you!

I'm letting my son use this one, as he likes to listen to music to pump him up for his hockey games, or he can use it outside rollerblading. It works great and he loves it! It doesn't skip, it gets loud so he can hear it over his rollerblades. He has used it for a few weeks and it hasn't run out of battery yet! Thanks Influenster!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is great. It’s not as light or as portable as a regular phone but sometimes you just don’t want to be on your phone. A Fanny pack will do! I was able to save a few cds from getting tossed out and it’s been a great experience getting to listen to plenty of cds and rediscover music differently. The music sounds great partially due to the headphones. The battery life seems good to me! So far it’s been great!
