BEWARE
BEWARE: this thing is not up front that you need a thin long philips screwdriver to access the battery pack. It's also not clear that they torqued down the screw so hard that you'll need to clamp down some leverage with pliers. regardless, the wife loves it.

Great item for Halloween
I got this item for my grandkids, and they loved it! We have only used it once so far but 1 bottle of bubbles brought a lot of fun and laughter. I will say that the motor is a lot louder than expected. Gave us a little shock when I turned it on inside just to make sure it works.

I looked at the reviews before I purchased this and after I got this home. I had to laugh. One person said he had to buy a “special “ screwdriver to open the door. The special screwdriver was a simple Phillips screwdriver!! Mine opened with no problems whatsoever so ever. Love this little pot!!

Cute cauldron! Not worth $20
I got this on sale for $12 and I think that’s a fair price. There is only 1 bubble setting and it’s very fast. I didn’t use the bubbles it came with and it worked fine. The battery compartment was a bit difficult to open but I got it done with a small screwdriver. Overall cute - just some small design flaws!

After reading some of the other reviews, I can honestly say this is a very cute bubble maker. It does make a lot of bubbles and shoots them very high in the air above my head. But also: - The bubble solution that comes with it does smell horrible. perhaps on purpose. I'm not sure if it's supposed to smell like black licorice, but that's what I get from it, but more chemical. - The battery door is tricky to open. But it needs a little tug while you're unscrewing it and then it'll come open. Also six batteries? What is that about? Why not an adapter? - It is loud, but not quite like a leaf blower. But it is still a very cute, amusing toy that makes a lot of bubbles! Definitely use outdoors!

The photo makes it look like it’s creepy bubbles that pour out. It’s not. They come out crazy fast and shoot up into the air to the point they touch the ceiling. It sounds like a small jet engine when you turn it on too.
