A: The official answer is correct with mistakes. This Xbox branded version of Halo: Campaign Evolved will not work on Xbox 360 or Xbox One. The game is designed for the newer Xbox's. This disc will ONLY play on Xbox Series X. The game itself will work DIGITALLY on Series S, but since that console has no physical disc slot, this physical disc is only playable on Xbox Series X, and nothing else that's currently on the market.

I'm impressed with the improved graphics. I really enjoyed this game because it's very nostalgic. the new missions makes it worth it. I'm glad they kept coop play an option.

Very good reimagining of the original game. Honors the legacy pretty well. the new missions have an interesting dynamic between characters, they added, ODSTs hate Spartans so its cool to see that portrayed. Overall good performance and great visuals

OG is better
I’ve played Halo since the very beginning and was excited to see Halo: Combat Evolved get rebooted. What shocked me is that it’s not the original game I loved, but rather what feels like an emasculation of the Halo icon, Master Chief. Microsoft throws in a woman who’s juiced up with more testosterone than an 18-year-old boy and has her throwing shade at Master Chief for being the hero. That completely took me out of the experience. Instead of honoring the character that built the franchise, it feels like they’re tearing him down. Halo was Microsoft’s bread and butter. Master Chief is the face of Xbox, and in my opinion they’ve completely missed the mark by sidelining the very hero that made the brand what it is. Refunded.
