They will go bad on the shelf.
I got these the week they came out and ate them and they were delicious. I went back to target and saw they had them again. I thought they were a fresh item. I prepared them in the air fryer the same way and I took a bite and it tasted off. I tore open the pastry to look at it and it had mold inside. These need to be pulled off the shelf after a few days! They are not preserved well.

Bakery quality, amazing! There is a suggestion on the box to add powdered sugar or finishing sugar but it truly doesn’t need any, it is so flavorful and just the right amount of sweetness already! I wish they would have this all the time!

Not to be dramatic bit... mind BLOWN! I heated it up as instructed...expecting nothing more than a larger Tasteycake pumpkin pie (sorry, i know that's regional)... but they added magic. I ate one full pasty (1/2 package) after a disappointing and therefore small dinner and I was STUFFED (w/ heartburn) but it was absolutely magical and truly full of pumpin deliciousness.

This was a tasty pumpkin hand pie. Perfect warmed up. The autumnal spices shine. My only complaint is it is too sweet. If you've had the Pumpkin Pasties at Universal, this isn't like that at all. I prefer the one at Universal but this is good.

The filling was fantastic! Not too spiced or overly sweet just the right blend of flavors. The pastry gets nice and golden when baked, which gives it a really good flaky texture. So delicious! Hogwarts or not, must try.

Oh my goodness I was genuinely surprised how good these pumpkin pasties were! I consider myself a snob when it comes to baked goods and prefer homemade. I rarely eat pre-packaged bakery items but I wanted to try the pumpkin pasties because I love Harry Potter and was curious about them. I was delighted by how delicious the filling is. The buttery crust is flaky and tender. Reminiscent of pumpkin pie but the filling is milder in flavor and a bit curd-like in texture. A looser filling than what you’d find in a pumpkin pie. Highly recommend warming it up in the oven, as directed. A great value at $5.99 for two gourmet pies as big as my hand. I hope to find more of these tasty treats on my next shopping trip to Target.
