Needed a carving set for the holidays and purchased this set. The price was right and so far so good. The fork is nice and sturdy, and has long tines, which really gripe the meat when carving. The carver is one piece construction with a full tang, which makes for effortless carving, and nice even slices. We have used this set for poultry, beef and pork and we are very pleased with how it works.

Ive started hosting dinners recently and needed a good carving set. This one met my needs without breaking the bank. The handles are comfortable. I love the look of the sliver ends. The blade of the knife is sharp and makes nice slices and the fork is not too big and easy to handle.

This carving set will get you through all the family holiday dinners and gatherings. Slicing and carving for a beautiful presentation of the plate. They are weighted nicley so a good balance and comfortable in the hand. These will stay sharp with a little care and you will be carving meats and poultry for years to come. Once you've worked all day to get the perfect Turkey and all the fixings just the way you want them, you bring them to the table and then sadly realize you will need to use an old kitchen knife and a big serving fork... busted, that really takes the wow out of the prep! I learned my lesson, after my last thanksgiving boo boo, I raced out get a carving set. I realized that it should be a good quality set because it will have to last and look good thru decades of holiday meals. Amongst all of the mediocre sets out there I was so happy to find a good quality set for much less than I thought I would have to pay.

Good Value Carving Set
Most people don't typically use a carving knife every week or month but the thinner blade makes it so much easier to carve a turkey or roast. Statement is a fine edge blade that will be sharp and easy to resharpen. You will be able to get a nice, thin slice of meat. You won't realize how important a meat fork is until you've tried to hold a large roast with a dinner fork. That's what makes this set such a great deal.

This set is a perfect grill or camping set, for outdoor use. I especially love the curve of the handle bottom as it gives me a better grip when handling food and meats. Well made and the 2 pieces you will need for your picnics and family get-togethers.

This is an excellent carving set - in form and function. The full tang knife and fork are hearty enough for a standing rib roast and smooth enough for a turkey. The Statement line is a very distinctive, and very popular around the world. Stamped from high quality German steel, they are durable and will maintain their sharpness with normal care. These full tang knives feature an steel cap at feel secure in most hands. The curve at the end of the handle is comfortable for larger hands. These knives are a very good value.
