Heroes Wanted - by Jamil L Maroun (Paperback)

Book Synopsis

I've spent a lifetime pursuing a relationship with God. Most of the time, I was unaware that God was listening or paying attention. During the zenith of my spiritual relationship with God, I asked God why he allowed numerous injustices and horrendous crimes against children to occur unabated. God's response changed my life forever.

From that moment on, I pledged to God that I would use the skills, talents, and gifts He bestowed upon me to make this a better world, free from injustices and preventable crimes. God took me up on my offer, but before I could begin, nefarious forces plotted against me and thwarted God's plan.

God isn't going to fix the problems humanity creates for itself. However, God is ready and willing to build a relationship with anyone who seeks Him out. Contained in the pages of this book is the story of my life, the details of my relationship with God, and the numerous visions of the world God bestowed upon me for defeating evil. Heroes Wanted: The Screams of Children Haven't Fallen on Deaf Ears is a true story about believing in God, having faith, and defeating evil.

Review Quotes

The following is from an email correspondence with one of the first people to read my new book and reach out to me:

Hi Jim. Much of your book resonated with me. I, too, am building my relationship with God daily. I saw myself in numerous areas of your book. I totally understand you couldn't describe the horrors those poor kids go through. I've worked in the criminal justice system for over 20 years...and I, too, have been in tears not only hearing the victims speak but listening to the horror and suffering they went through. Your book is truly a journey and like I said, I felt like we were just having a chat amongst friends as I was reading it and I like that style of writing. I appreciate authors that reach out to their audience.
