Horde Trooper Prime Masters of the Universe Origins Action Figure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy is really unique as far as action figures go because you can swap out the arms. I've never seen that before and my son thought it was very cool. It comes with accessories and you can even use the box as a cool background for play. It's sturdy and well made. My son squealed when he opened it and has kept it on his "special shelf" to play with often.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son was beyond thrilled by this Master of the Universe Horde Trooper Prime! Even though he wasn’t previously familiar with these characters, it made no difference to how much he fell in love with this toy. The first thing he loved was the box it came in - he spent a few days admiring the artwork and drawing pictures of his own to copy it. I had to promise him we would keep the box, because it was just so awesome looking! He was so excited to open the Horde Trooper Prime soldier, and spent hours playing with him. My son loves to play with toys that keep his fingers busy, and enjoys the feeling of highly articulated toys with parts you can move or click apart, and things that are posable and let you keep moving them. This toy checks every one of those boxes with flying colors! The Horde Trooper Prime includes a removable cape, a different spare arm you can swap out, and three other interchangeable weapons. All of this is exactly what a child who loves to play the way my son does will get hours of enjoyment from. My son really loved these accessories and had a lot of fun continually swapping them out. His only minor complaint was that it was a little tricky to place the Trooper’s cape back into place once it had been removed, but he figured it out! Also, as much as my son adored the Horde Trooper Prime soldier, he said he thinks his very favorite part of the toy was actually the Hover Robot Prime that was included. He thought it was the coolest thing ever! The Hover Robot Prime looks menacing with his fan-blade hands that actually can rotate, and his head is movable, so he can look in different directions. He includes a clear stand with a base to give the effect of him hovering in the air, which is very cool! Lastly, the box includes a very nice looking illustrated character card that gives some info on the Trooper, which my son also really liked. All in all, this toy brought my son a surprisingly great amount of satisfying playtime and joy, and I would highly recommend this product. It is well designed and highly articulated, has the perfect amount of detail and accessories, and just looks awesome!

My son likes to play Masters of the Universe with it and my daughter uses it with her haunted house as a scary figure. It is great for imaginative play.

Has a very Retro Toy vibe and even though my kids didn’t know who the character was, they thought it was really cool and fun to play with. Easy to manipulate and adjust shape and form

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son was so excited to add this to his Masters of the Universe action figure collection. My favorite part, and I think his too, was (and forgive me but I don't know all the He-man characters and names like he does) the robot that accompanies the soldier, and how it has a stand with it that makes it look like the robot is actually hovering in air. That detail really impressed me. The toy is good quality. The joints are well articulated. Even the robot arms can move around some. My son enjoyed adding this "bad guy" to his villains, and has enjoyed playing with him.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Favorite thing about this figure is box art. Seriously. I love the packaging on the MOTU Origins line. So nostalgic. The toy itself…meh. Maybe it’s mainly because I don’t quite understand this character. It seems to be accurate to the story, you would ideally have more than one to play with. That sounds expensive. Also, I keep reading “hover” as “hoover” and so, I can’t stop imagining the little bot as a vacuum, maybe something off of WALL*E. That piece adds to the packaging , but not really the play. It doesn’t really “do”. You can change out the weapons on the guard; that’s kinda cool. Other than looking cool and intimidating, I just feel like this figure is superfluous. Zero interest in it from my 6 year old. Zip. Nada.

My son has been collecting the Masters of the Universe figures for the past few years and this one was a big hit!! The figures lend themselves well to imaginative play and the creative scenarios he builds for his figures. In my son’s words, the Horde Trooper Prime figure has cool accessories and looks cool. He enjoys that you can pop off their weapons. This figure is well made and rated 10 out of 10 by my son!

I was of imagination with the product. My child friends enjoyed the product as well. It was durable. It shows so much interest. I really recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Masters of the Universe CRIMSON HORDE TROOPER did not disappoint! This was given to my 7 year old nephew. Although, he was new to Master of the Universe world, he immediately fell in love with this Crimson Horde Trooper. This brought back a lot of memories playing with the original MOTU 1980 toys. The Trooper is poseable in many different ways creating some awesome battle poses! He comes with a removeable cape, extra arm and 3 different weapons. Also included is a very cool "Hover Robot" which is also poseable. A bio-card is also included which gives details about the character. A bit of nostalgia, but with modern play with the different poses. There were plenty of time playing with the Trooper and discussions about MOTU. A definite thumbs up!

You can change out the pants/legs. The hands can also be swapped out. It makes playtime fun and the kids can use their imagination to play differently every time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Masters of the Universe Horde Trooper Prime is a fun Action Figure. My 8 year old thinks it’s pretty fun overall. It had lots of little parts to switch up his arm which go on easily. The side robot Hover is the kids favorite part. Since it’s so cute!

The range of motion here is incredible, my only issue is that balancing him to stand in any of the possible stances is a struggle. The colors here are super vivid, and the detail on the paint is spectacular. the toy itself was sturdy, nothing felt as though it was at risk of breaking, even the stand for the floating robot. Loved the interchangeable pieces, but after a while his chest seemed to open a little too easily, and it was sometimes more difficult to lock his arms into place than id like. Works really well as a model toy, great for looking at and occassionally moving, because its a beautiful piece!

Because of this he lost interest fairly fast. It would be better for someone who wanted to collect it rather than play with it. Love the details though!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This motu is awesome. It is well made and was a lot of fun for my little guy. Comes with a nice amount of accesories. The box is nice too and we saved that as well. This will be staying in the collection.
