Perfect
I love these controllers, I feel a lot of people don’t like them because they cannot be used handheld but I knew this and bought them anyway. Not only are they absolutely beautiful but they also have a wonderful grip and texture to the back of the controller that only intensifies that, I feel also they are the perfect size compared to the original controllers that come with the switch itself. I feel these are worth it but if you know nothing about the product definitely look into it to see if it’s right for you.

Cute but not what I needed
I adored the design but I didn't realize until I got home that they cannot be used detached from the system. I can't dock the switch and play with these as joycons, they only work if theyre attached to the Switch. They'd be a 5 star due to the design and the size of them had they been able to be used detached.

More money then worth
It doesn't have a battery like you think a $60 controller would. It's a cool design just disappointed. It will only work while connected to the switch. It has fake bumpers and pair bottons on them. Overall it's overpriced for nothing

Not comparable to original Joy-Con
Absolute waste of money. We bought them to replace our daughter’s original joy cons that were failing only to find out they can’t be used for anything other than play directly connected to the switch as a handheld. In addition, you’ll need a new case because they’re larger. The cases they sell that fit these don’t have organized card storage, so you’ll need a separate storage case to put in the pocket unless you want loose cards in the pocket. They can’t be used independent of the switch like actual joycons can so if you use motion games they’re useless. Lastly they only work directly connected to the switch, not a wireless base, so you’ll need a separate controller if you want to play on a tv. In hindsight, we should have dug more for information and reviews on these before buying. We would have been better off just buying a replacement set of original joycons to avoid needing to spend almost $200 on all the extra’s you’ll need, and still not have the functionality of motion that the original joycons have. The only reasons I’m giving two stars is that they’re cute and likely good for someone who only uses the switch as a handheld, but anyone who wants functionality of original joycons, look elsewhere.

Cute for a collection, Not functional for long
They are so adorable, but they don’t feel like $60 much cheaper. I had mine for 10 days and the buttons started becoming non responsive and then the dreadful drift started after that… cute for a collector item but that’s about it.

Cute and lightweight
Really makes holding the switch a lot easier. They are light weight, which some may view as cheap, but I like it because I was worried they would make the switch heavy to hold. I did purchase coverage since a lot of products I've purchased drift eventually.

Quality & Cute
I've had these for a week, and I love them so far. I'm a little confused by some of the negative reviews- complaining that you can't assign buttons on the Nintendo settings, well its not a nintendo product, so it makes sense they wouldn't have capabilities to assign buttons within the switch itself, and they also are not hard to assign if you actually read the instructions that come with them, since another review complained that they couldn't figure out how to assign them. There's also so many videos online if you can't figure it out from their picture diagram instructions. Another user complained that they don't fit in their case anymore. Again, seems like this should be obvious because they are clearly larger than original joycons. It seems silly to ding a review because you couldn't figure out how to use the product correctly when instructions are provided. I also don't understand calling them cheap feeling, they feel just like the actual Nintendo joycons, if anything a little better quality because they're beefier and make holding the switch handheld much more comfortable. The negative reviews seem to be people that do not fully understand the product and it's intended use. The only one thing that I could see as a downside is that I ~believe~ you can't use them wirelessly, they have to be attached to the switch, and they also don't vibrate. But, that's the ONLY reason I took a star off from value, because they are almost as expensive as normal joycons, but it does make up for it mostly with the added features that are upgrades from the regular joycons, and the cute design. I am a huge Pokemon fan and the Eeveelutions have always been near and dear to me, so being able to have cute joycons with extra programmable buttons is great! If you actually program them, they can really add some QOL improvements to games. I overall recommend!!

Cute but disappointed
I purchased this item because I love eeveelution and the design was simplistic but still amazing, the second I open the box all I could really say is that they felt…cheap. They have additional controls, 3 on each joycon (on on the back, two on the front) and you’re unable to map them in the settings of the switch which is also disappointing. It’s just not a purchase I would overall recommend for something that is so expensive.

Great Concept, missed potential
It’s extremely cute, the designs are subtle yet so detailed. Haven’t really figured out how to assign the extra buttons but I’m learning as I go. A complaint I do have about them would be the feel / quality of them. The joysticks feel good I have chunky short thumbs and they reach for movement when I play Pokémon & Fortnite. I wish they’d fit the regular handles where you can attach controllers but they don’t so they’re only really for having them ON the switch. They don’t fit in my switch case while on so if I want to take them for travel they have to be removed and packed separately. They feel overall very light and soft in the back when I hold. I’d rate it 7/10 hopefully maybe working out the advanced controller settings would make me like it more but overall it’s mainly the feel of it mixed with the inability to use with a case or the hand held controller version that know I it down a bit for me. Great buy though for a Pokémon touch

Perfect design for Pokemon fans!
Perfect design for Pokémon fans! The thumbsticks feel great. Controllers overall are lightweight and easy to hold The only thing is that they do not rumble and assigning the paddles is limited to the buttons on their respective side.
