Guests are saying
Hormel Chili No Beans has been a long-time favorite for many guests, especially for chili dogs and nachos. However, recent reviews indicate a decline in quality, with complaints about excessive wateriness and reduced meat content. While some guests still enjoy its flavor and versatility, others express disappointment over the changes. This product remains a quick and easy option for meals, but guests are hoping for improvements in consistency and meatiness.

We loved this. We poured it over corn chips. Yum.
Tasted like huevos Ranchos to us. We are going to buy maybe six cans. Will use over hotdogs, baked potatoes and fried eggs.

Watery No Meat Chili style soup
We have used Hormel No Bean Chili for many many years. Been our go to for chili, but last 2 cans have been very little meat and extra extra watery. We wanted chili dogs but there wasn't a way to do that without wasting most of it because it is so watery it destroys the buns. Very Very disappointed in the recent change. Do not recommend until they fix this issue and make it correctly again.

I would look for a new brand of chili with no beans.
I use the chili with no beans for chili dogs on hotdog buns with cheese topping. There is so little meat in it and it is so saucy that it is just a soggy mess. Flavor is good but needs a little more meat.

I will not be buying this product again.
This has always been our go to for chili dogs. The last couple of cans we bought were so watery they were pretty much unusable for the purpose.

Would not buy this again
Bought 2 cans to put over hot dogs. This is so watery, you can't put it on anything. No meat in it at all. Terrible taste.

Has there been a change?
This and the one with beans has always been my families go to for chili. However in recently I've had some medical issues and found myself extremely sensitive to anything spicy. The first can I tried I was only able to eat a couple bites but I figured it was just me. However my daughter later said she also felt it was a lot spicier than usual. I used another can yesterday and same thing. Has there recently been a recipe change? Has it always had the chili powder in it?

Basically soup now
90% water 5% meat 5% ?????? basically looks like soup with a few pieces of meat in it. Used to add this on hotdogs. Not anymore. Ruined this for me.

This product has changed.
We used to buy this for chili dogs all the time. But our recent experiences with the now "soupier" product is making us consider switching brands.

Brown water
A couple of times a year I would buy this chili for chili dogs. The quality went downhill quickly and stayed down.

LITERALLY BEST CHILI IN THE UNIVERSE
THIS CHILI TASTES SO GOOD!!! Mix this with plain rice and you have a tasty filling chili rice. I love putting it on corn dogs and eating it by itself too. 10/10 will eat for the rest of my life.

I would like to buy it again, but I'm just not sure.
I'm on a protein diet so I weigh my food. Nutr. On the side it says serving size 236g. 260 cal. However my chili weighted only 397g total. Can says425g total. Can is short 28g. Do I trust the nutrition value when the grams aren't correct. Plus it's really thin, not as thick as it use to be.

Great pantry item
I throw a couple of cans in my little cooker and 90 minutes later I've got chili dogs. Or just a bowl of comfort food. Or a side for a bigger project, like munchies for the big game. It's an old favorite.

20% meat. 80% water. 100% a scam.
I love to occasionally make fries or hotdogs and be able to add this chili to it but this product is so watered down as to be useless. I will be posting about this to social media.

Disappointed
I've bought this chili for many years. I recently bought the regular chili no beans. It tasted fine, but it was so watery and had less meat than in the past. I don't like paying more for less. Won't be in my shopping basket again.
