Hunter Fan 60" Overton Energy Star Damp Rated Ceiling Fan with LED Light Kit and Wall Control Matte Black

I bought the fan and added the remote control. It did not come with a receiver. I have been all over their website trying to determine which receiver I need to but for this model. Unable to determine which one I need. If I could determine that I would buy it. Why they would sell a remote and not provide immediate feedback that you need to have a receiver for the remote to work is beyond me.

The down rod (24",18",12") does not match the fan. The little stub that comes with it is perfect match. I am considering returning my fan.

Choose from the different air flow options to pick the perfect one. This is Indoor/Outdoor. If you do choose outdoor, make sure it’s a covered area making sure not to get too wet.

It took some time to get it installed as we had to order a different down rod and we had to have someone come install it for us. Do yourself a HUGE favor and purchase this fan I have 2 installed outside under my covered patio and I LOVE them.

I installed the Overton fan in my 15'x15' screened enclosure. This fan was easy to install and pushes a lot of air! It is a really stunning fan with all the blades. I've gotten quite a few compliments on it so far. I never realized how much my old fan distracted from our view of the yard. The fan color blends right into our white ceiling, helping us notice the view in our yard more, when looking out the window to our porch. The light is bright and I love having the ability to dim & brighten it, as well as adjust the fan speed with the touch of a button. It is very quiet, so it does not interfere with our conversations. I couldn't be happier with this fan and highly recommend it! It really upgraded the look of my porch. It is classy looking and I'm sure it will last a long time, as my other hunter fans have.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in a log home and wanted a sleek/modern look instead of traditional. This fan is the perfect fit. The blades are not too big and are slim. Easy to install but takes some time and is pretty darn quiet. I would suggest two people to install due to arms getting tired! I was worried with this many blades it would be too big but blades are slim so it doesn’t look too crowded or too huge! Easy to find parts with how they package in the box. Well balanced and has awesome air-flow!

You can count on a quality fan. My Mother bought five on my recommendation and is greatly satisfied. Oh course, I then had to hang them all. This fan is the best fan I have ever had my hands on. First, the 10 60-inch blades push some serious air. The overall feel is surprisingly light and not bulky at all. Being a weather resistant product means you can use it indoor or outside on a porch or in a proper gazebo. If you are not versed in electricity you should consult a professional before choosing an outdoor location, The location can not be WET. You have choice of distance to the ceiling. The LED light brings economy to beauty. Friends and family will be impressed with your new fan. I certainly am.

I also would like for it to have more light. I ended up installing a bright light in the ceiling next to the fan because it wasn’t enough.

We didn't want to be blown out by the wind the fan-created, but we wanted it to be enough to keep the Georgia heat and bugs away on those hot summer days. The fan has multiple speeds that provide the perfect level of control for any condition and the LED light puts off the right amount of light at night. We may end up changing the bulb to reduce the bugs light attracts at night, but it's not bad at all. Overall this is a very nice fan that seems sturdy enough to withstand many years outside.

HIt has ultimate high speed and cooling six speeds to customize air movement. It has reverse switch to change direction of the fan among other features. A nice simple design. It is also very quiet. Along with our other stuff we have added this is the best place to invite friends. Also in the morning we can turn the fan on and have it cool down while i drink my morning coffee and watch all the birds we have feeders for.

It's already hot and humid here, but this high velocity fan moves the air amazingly created a nice breeze without making you feel like you're being blown away. It has 10 blades that really get the job done. Best of all, the WhisperWind motor really is whisper quiet, so the fan noise doesn't get in the way of relaxing lazy days on the porch! It's damp rated, so perfect for the area we chose to use it in. I worried it might be hard to install, but my huaband and I were able to put it up with no problems. The receiver for the wall switch is built in, so that helps a ton and saves a lot of time. I really love the light is an LED which is more energy efficient and that it's dimmable. We like to sit on the porch at night and have a little light, but not a lot, so the dimmer allows us to set it to a perfect ambiance. Another big plus is that the moving air keeps mosquitos away.. that's going to make summer time so so much more enjoyable outside! It's amazing what something as simple as a good fan can do to make family time outside more comfortable and enjoyable! It will keep us outside and together more and that is priceless!
