Please be mindful the audio recording was recorded through my phone so the quality is reduced as my phone microphone is not the best. It sounds clear and professional. Great for creating training videos and recordings. It also takes up less space on my desk than my previous microphone as it has a flat bottom so can sit directly on the desk, or can be screwed into a stand if needed. The touch button on top to mute and unmute is also a great feature and really handy for meetings. Brilliant value for money!

The size is compact and it weight only 261 grams without the satin, which makes it ideal for smaller desks and it’s so easy to pack up take to another set up. There is a convenient tap-to-mute sensor on top with a led indicator showing its status. It connects via usb-c supporting up to 24-bit 96kHz recording , and work with pc , ps5, ps4 and mac which is absolutely I was looking for.

A Stylish Little Mic With a Bright Red Attitude
The HyperX SoloCast is honestly one of the coolest little mics I’ve owned. It looks sharp, and that red light on the front gives it a bit of personality. I also love how the top section tilts back — it naturally lines up with your voice without any fuss. Now, it does skip a few features I usually insist on, like a headphone jack for monitoring and built‑in gain or volume controls. But the tap‑to‑mute is great: tap the top, the red light goes out, and you instantly know you’re muted. It’s a cardioid mic, so it picks up what’s right in front of it and rejects most of the extra noise around you. When you factor in the price, it’s a genuinely solid starter mic for anyone on a budget.

This truly was plug & play, as soon as I connected it to my Mac, the microphone worked instantly & was really responsive. It’s brilliant being able to tilt it upwards when needed, and a tap to mute function is handy too! Upon unboxing the microphone, my first impression was that it feels solid & well built, the materials feel premium & I am really satisfied Great product!

Great for streaming and voice calls
I have it on a boom arm and it’s lightweight and the quick on/off/mute makes it good for life’s surprises while streaming. I love having it instead of relying on a built-in mic with my headset. The only downside is it picks up everything, and i mean everything. The fan in the other room, the fridge, the PC’s cooling fan. I just see the input moving in the equalizer. It doesn’t have any software that I could find to help control it better

The size makes it easy to set up without it getting in your way. My only con is that it does pick up background noise but I feel that is to be expected to some extent.
